Thornton had, originally, threatened
to punch a local radio host in the head (true story)...
but since that couldn't be arranged on short notice...
he eventually decided to intercept a 'scrum-bound', Moen,
and attempted, unsuccessfully,
to take out some of the Bruin's frustrations on him..

In the end, luck, and an awkward jersey-grip,
conspired to allow the Hab to escape, relatively unscathed,
from this uneventful draw.

Thorny doing his best to try to awake his dormant Stanley Cup team but he loses on points to Moen. Boston is playing out of synch and it makes you wonder how much longer Julien will let it go on before he cracks the whip.

Not much of a fight, I was expecting to see Moen take a beating, but he hung in there pretty well.

Moen was very pleased that he was able to hold on and avoid a beating -- 3 and a draw

I liked the way Thornton intercepted Moen from joining the scrum,
A few rights from Moen amd some lefts Thornton...no damage done.
Two character players.
Gave it a 3 and a definite DRAW.

This had to be the end of the shift. They both looked gassed from the jump.

I must admit I really Like Thornton but he just couldn't get going here

I would bet tho that out of 10 fights he would beat Moaen 7 or 8 and hurt him in a few of those.....O well

Not much here, but it appeared Moen got a couple in to earn a slight win.

Draw. Moen used Thornton's move on him.

Draw. I thought Moen was alright in that. I expected more out of Thornton but Moen has always been tough. I could see how a few of the Habs homers like Hitman514 and silly little boldbilly would score this some sort of great victory for Moen.

You can always count on the bruins to jump smaller teams..cheap dirty team..
good thing they got their FLUKE stanley cup win out of the way...cause they are showing who they really are-they suck!
