Walker redeems himself, slightly,
by handily, dismantling a thouroughly hapless Konopka...
who seems well on his way to becoming the heir apparant
to Stortini's, ''Huggy-Bear'' throne''.
The King is dead...long live the King!
Planet Zenon was on the ice for the final two shifts of the game, a move that shows Paul MacLean is the Obama of NHL coaches--in totally over his head. Konopka had his fat butt in front of Bobrovsky's face to allow Erik Karlsson to punch home a goal with seconds left. Then MacLean left Konopka on the ice for no other reason than to fight Matt Walker who proceeded to pound his head in front of the Flyers bench.
Much better showing for Walker second time around...
Pleasantly surprised how he threw the lefts towards the end.
Konopka's fighting style reminds me of a poor man's Komisarek...at least (and good to see) Komi seems to be throwing more lately.
