Like the ''not backing down'' intro, but ...
The DZA and DARCY T perfectly sum up my feelings
regarding the ''efforts'' of both players in this ''fight?''.

Shattenkirk (or, however you spell it)
is a great hockey name,
along the same lines as Orland Kurtenbach.

Souray got a two minute high stick along with the five minute fighting major but that was clearly a crosscheck to the back of Stewart. The fight ended faster than it started with Souray on top.

either Souray is stronger than I thought (Stewart is a beast), or Stewart really didn't feel like fighting. Souray with the win for at least sort of throwing a punch

I know Souray can fight better than this and it's obvious he was protecting his hands.
One more hand fracture would probably spell the the end of his career.
Smart conservative fight Shelie !
We know you can take care of business...you have nothing to prove.

Not really a fight. Draw. Souray not a guy that wants to fight but never backs down around his own net. Reminds me of Terry Carkner.

One week into the season?

yeah, seems about the right amount of time for Souray to try and break another hand.

Souray lands the only punch and wins the wrestling match

Souray wins a crap tilt

not much of a fight but it's good to see a scrap on a powerplay for a change. Souray's doing it all this so far this year, he's even a plus 4. Not bad for a minor leaguer.

Playin b4 a nice pack house in Dallas I see. More contact before the fight than during... Souray gets the takedown and moves immediately into the mount then hugs and cuddles.... No points awarded for style.. a draw

No fight, though Souray deserved an ass kicking after his bull**** crosschecks....

Draw, Stewart wrestled down.

I didn't really care that Souray was not in the league, but it is nice to see him back. He will fight every once in a while and we will get some highlight goals when he gets torched one-on-one.
