I wouldn't go as far as ''potato-sacked''????....
but that looked like a classic example of the ol' one-two.

Low-light of the fight was
the scary amount of empty seats
half way through the second period.
I realize that it's a Monday game, early in the season,
and the Yotes aren't exactly a big draw,
or even a slight rival...
but Holy Atlanta, Dallas!

Morrow got two for the cross-check that launched the so-called fight. The announced attendance was 6,306. The AHL Houston Aeros drew 9,117 for their Sunday night season opener against the Chicago Wolves. I wish Commissioner Buttman would consider a Houston-Dallas NHL rivalry.

Ha! Potato sacked. Rusty collapsed and covered up right quick.

Looks like everyone was at Hooters watching the Rangers game.

BM looked like he was undressing RK to grab his hooters. Not even close.

I realize there are a lot of excuses, the early start, facing a less-than-exciting opponent, MLB playoffs, etc, etc, etc...but that was the emptiest looking arena since I went to a ECHL game. Really sad.

Win Morrow, "a wise-guy eh? nyuck nycuk"

It was a 5pm game, and the Rangers were playing at home. Morrow for the win. I was at opening night and the seats were near full.

What the hell is with nobody being at the game?
Maybe it's time to move Dallas too. Along with Phoenix as well.
Fight sucked, fights have been pretty bad to start out this year.
