I love how all you guy talk about Neil as someone who always backs down from a fight and picks his battles. Take a look at just the last 3 years of fight cards Chara, Orr, Peters, England x2 (who KO'd Orr),Parros, Godard, Thorton. and occasionally he'll tune up someone who thinks they won't get a beating because he shouldn't fight them. Your beloved Tie Domi beat up Magnus Arvedson ( a guy who doesn't even take he gloves off to undo he skates). Why anyone would fight Orr actually takes a regular shift is beyond me, the guy played less than 3min (granted he did score on us lol) but come on man if you fight him he sits in the box if you don't he sits on the bench so who cares Neil wanted Dion and Schen stepped in, good on him move on.
The code is dumb, you need to keep players in check and if the player who did the deed won't go then the next guy in line pays the piper.

Even Semenko did it this way (Phil Bourque, Michel Picard) ya big fighters.

Give it up Leaf losers

The horseshoe fell out of Lucky Luke Schenn's ass in this one. I like the fact that Neil gave him no choice.

Neil is a puke, always was. This is essentially attacking someone trying to look tough, but it ,ay have cost them the game. No balls.

So heres the deal.

Watched the game, at the time I thought "really Neil?" But on the replay it CLEARLY shows Schenn going out of his way to get in Neils path for the bench and at that point he deserved it for being an idiot.

And for all the "he should have gone with Orr" bull****. Understand that Neil and Orr are not in the same catagory. No one in the Sens lineup last night is in Orr's class. Neil is a light heavyweight and Orr is a Heavyweight.

Neil shows his true colours once again there are plenty of fighters on the Toronto bench that he could of took on instead he goes after Schenn! Why not Brown or Komisarek a guy that can actually hold his own in a fight? I know why cause Neil is a 200lb wuss!

As usual,Neil is another Sean Avery (pick your spot - cheap shot). I don't mind toe to toe but,his gloves were off and 3 shot's in before Schen had a clue.

Dictonary list "Chris Neil"
- i.e: Pathetic, cheap shot artist - loser (halfman) without ball's.4th liner on losing team - unic, Child that takes ball home when losing fair game,Over paid for half assed play, Loser, abort at preterm with coat hanger.

Typical Chris Neil, hits Schenn a couple of times while he's down. He's such a piece of crap!

Neil's such a dick. He didn't even give Schenn a chance to drop the gloves.

First off, that was a clean hit by Dion. Even Ottawa's coach said it himself...

Second, leave it to Neil to pick a fight with Dion, then actually accept the smaller, lesser player instead...stupid of Schenn, but even less classy of Neil.

This is just an indication of how long of a season it will be for OTT...if these are the kinds of fight their enforcer is looking for...

schenn looked like he didnt really want to do this, which he shouldnt have, neil dominates an overmatched opponent.

Neil gets the jump on Schenn and then goes on to own him.

Schenn wins by virtue of the fact that the mouth-breather wearing 25 crippled his team as a result of his actions. Real fighters square off, look their opponent in the eye and throw. Nothing inspiring about Neil's attempt to fire up his team.

You can say that Neil initiated, granted it appears valid...........however, you should notice that Schenn was blocking Neil's path to the bench.......Schenn should know better
