Looked like a hit to the head to me from cheap ass puss puss Phachurch.... I heard he's been getting a lot of head shots in the off season if you know what I mean!!! Wheres Shannahan now? Win to Cowan for landing more shots.... Dion is a goof! I'd say it to his face just like I did to Chris Letang this off season, who hid behind his "buddies" lol and then got the f*$^ outta dodge quick at Mt. Tremblant...

Phaneuf with the solid loss!

Clash of the "visor-people" here. Looks like Cowan was not really expecting a bout here. Phaneuf is obviously outmuscled by the end but there is no real winner in this one.....

It's cool Leaf fan your guy lost. That left by Cowen even had Phanie checking to see if he was leaking. Nice hit, but he loses the fight. Close but that left sealed the deal.

Don't agree with the call on the hit, but it was a doozy of a shoulder, reminds me of the punisher that Phaneuf use to be when he wasn't worried about point night. As for the fight, I've seen less grabbing at mens clubs.

The announcers say it was a good clean hit but the second angle shows Dion leave his feet and both angles show elbow to head but Dion will never see a suspension for his type of hits.
