For some time now,
I've been trying to figure out
a way that I could say (non-sarcastically)
something good about Talbot.
Purely out of respect for my Penguin fan friends

I admit...it hasn't been easy, but how about this...
There are very few players in the league
that can actually inspire their team
simply by losing a fight.
Talbot manages to accomplish this minor miracle
showing true ''NonStopoulosian'' form
in the process.

Paul "I want to stay in the NHL" Mara with his second fight in two games. He handled Talbot, trying to invigorate his team with the clock ticking. He didn't.

Win Mara. Talbot is "0 fer" this season and although the crappy pittsburgh announcer's voice cracked during the fight, it did not seem to do much for the Pens

Mara likes to fire quickly...kind of reminds me of Jamal Mayers's style.
Hats off to Talbot for hanging in for a while...despite the size differential.

mara cant put down a little id-git like maxime i never won a fight talbot.is mara the best montreal can do.But give credit to mara he probably earned an nhl contract with this fight lol.

Wow, I saw the voting and figured mara must have TKO'd him...but that was at best a draw. Talbot gets turned around for a second so he loses??? I guess the canadien's fans have to back anyone with the stones to expose his bare hands. Not a big talbot fan either so I was hoping for a simultaneous KO....maybe next time.

Looks like habfans "stuffing the ballots again" like thet did in the All star game. Mara throws the first punches all to Talbots back' until Maxime gets his balance and lands all the scoring punches on face shots. After the game; cassie Campbell interviewed Mara; whose bottom lip was swollen and bloody- delivered by Talbot punches. TYPICAL of hab fans to think their guy won bc of size difference and punches to the back, WIN TALBOT
