Derek Dorsett vs Jason Strudwick

Dorsett gets schooled in this one. Later in this game this goon gets in a fight with Oilers rookie phenom Hall; who looks to have injured his knee in the takedown.

Outsized, outpowered, outreached...but bravely took a pretty good pounding from Strud. Props to DD for going with him, but win Jason.

Strudwick easilly. Another good fighter with islander roots (strudwick, simon, goddard, etc, etc, etc).

If there ever was a "punching bag" in the NHL it would be Dorsett...yet he still goes time and time again

Strudwick dominated this one. But DD's got a lot of heart--a middle weight who regularly drops em against heavies. Give him some respect for that.

Dorsett does a good job of surviving. That's about it.

Not close, he was manhandled, now I understand why he felt he had to beat up on Hall later to feel like he still had a set swinging down there. He lost this one..yep, not close boys

i expected strudwick to kill dorsett.didnt happed.dorsett fought smartly and landed as much as strudwick.strudwick just had a slightly better finish.thats why i could understand somebody voting edge strudwick but i call it draw.i hate dorsett though...gave it 5

These homer announcers need glasses! Struds is oneof the most underrated fighetrs in the leaugue. He can throw the jack hammer left wit the best of them.

What was the announcer watching. "You held me, so I want to fight and you can kick my azz."
