ok 1 question here is Konopka going for most fighting major ina career without actually being tough in a career? or is he ever actually going to become tough?

Another boring Konopka fight. Why does he bother? What's with Gilles. Why is he in the NHL?? Loser, no class.

But more importantly, somebody please explain how Clutterbuck got a misconduct AND an instigator?! Is this a new league instigator rule where if you hit somebody legally, then two guys give you jabs and you fall down, you head to the box for 10 minutes? They're going to clean this game up one way or another...

staubitz with the rightful domination, especially after getting pwned by john scott the other day. staubitz needs more ice time imo. give credit to konopka for never quitting though even after a solid 10+ punches to the back of the head

ZK had only one shot that really connected.

What fight were the rest of you watching?

Konopka got a few good blows in on Staubitz despite ZeKo keeping mostly out of Staubitz's range, Bitzy was more active and landed more quality blows while Zenon looked as if he was starting to get a bloody nose...just may have been red. ZeKo's hook to the face that caused Bitzy to smile, usually that smile is trying to say "That didn't hurt" but usually did.

Staubitz with the win for effort and hits landed after ZeKo lost his lid and his armpit smelling tactic that seemed to affect his thinking on the way to the dressing room that he won.

Staubitz had a small edge for landing more shots. Other then that. Boring fight

Can someone explain the misconduct on clutterbuck tho?? Looked clean to me

Nice win for Staubitz. But can someone explain to me why the hell the stupid refs gave Clutterbuck a misconduct for a clean hit?? These refs are obviously very stupid and don't know how to call a game. If making a clean hit getting knocked down on a cheap shot (the second one of the game on him) and then getting up and following the play deserves an instigating misconduct then the NHL has really gone downhill and so have the refs. WTF.

I'm in agreement with all the bashing on Gillies. Makes me smile when I go back and look what Boogey did to him in 05-06 :)

As for fight....nice rebound from the Scott mugging for Staubitz.
