Hendricks didn't really think this one through,
as Poptarts quickly makes him regret his decision to engage.

Love hearing the ''Long'' (no pun intended) ...suffering... Islander fans,
all jacked up about the scrap. Shades of Mick Vukota, Ken Baumgartner, Gary Howatt, and happier times.

Z-man wins all the way. Perhaps there is a family lineage of Matt Hendricks with Craig Adams.

All Zk in this one...
Used nice combinations, especially the uppercuts.
It looked semi-staged to me, lol.
The fans have to get into it more !

I don't know what was said between those 2 boys but I really don't think Hendricks was thinking in ANYway that he would try to spark his team this way!!!!! There just didn't seem to be any fire in his fight so I can't imagine that he would ever conclude that this would inspire a dam thing!!!

Konopka with the dominant win.

With two guys fighting at a hugging distance, Konopka wins with some great inside work. Landing a series of over, under, over headshots, Hendricks could do nothing but stagger to the PB.

Hendricks was a great pick up for the Caps, very gritty do whatever it takes player. When it comes to fighting, well, he normally comes up short. Here, once again he comes up short. Win Konopka

Was that Hendricks or Parros trying to stand on those skateguards???

Hendricks taking on Konopka was honorable but he bit off more than he could chew. He's lucky he didn't get knocked out. It served it's purpose though I guess as his team won.

Bad idea for Hendrickson, Zenon was probably asking him if he was sure about this before he began hammering Hendricks. Win ZK
