Most of Shelley's wild, telegraphed rights missed or hit helmet. Who told Holmgren to sign this guy? Yonkman landed the best punch. Shelley needed 60 stitches. Win Yonkman.

Shelley is resurgent, he tenatively approaches the larger Yonkman, who is eager to earn an NHL paycheck again. Yonkman is a minor league vet with many fights under his belt, he even spent some time with the Caps.
Shelley looks as good as he has in a year.

Draw; based on the mush that Yonk turned jodies face into......

Props to Shelley.....he's looked washed up at times this year but has come alive of late...in this one he got off first, took advantage of the kid's tentativeness and pulverized Yonkers.
Credit the rookie though with landing a bomb on Jody's beak and bloodying the vet......GOOD TILT LADS !!!

I don't know why people say Yonk brought Shelley down to size. He made Jody look like a titan. 7

One of the few solid 10 scraps ive seen since I started coming on this site. Great fight. Both fought strongly but one was still noticeably a winner. Props to both players for a great example of a hockey fight

Yonkman needs to work on using his fists.

I thought Shelley had won the fight but I read in the paper today that Shelley had to get 60 stitches after the fight.... yeah its not a type-o.... 60

Yonkman must have concrete hands cause I didn't see any real bombs.

Shelley with the win but took 60 stitches after the fight, watching it live and it was a nasty cut on the one shot Yonkman got in. Tough to say a win after 60 stitches but Shelley hasn't won many this year so give him the victory because he pounded on Yonkman most of the fight.

Love Shelley, good to see him back in the win column. Shelley has had the same cut on his face all season, thats why it split open so easy!
