Glad I watched this again. It's closer than it originally appeared to be. Bradley came out of this one with a big (for him) W, but not by much. I really enjoyed this one. Nothing but big, angry punches. I gave it a solid 7.

Oh, and even as a Pens fan, even I agree that the hit was legal, deserved, and HUGE. I was pretty surprised that Cooke jumped right up after it.

Bradley brought the hits this night

Lots of punches thrown, but appears that only Bradley's connect. Another win for Bradley who isn't afraid to take on other teams enforcers. Too bad he didn't fight Cooke.

As for the fight fan 'holidaysintexas:" I always give an honest appraisal, but agree with fans from the Bruins and others that Cooke needs to be run out of the league. I love hockey and find it very odd that the league continues to allow his instigating and acting. Godard should find a more worthy opponent than going after an Islanders player who was stupid enough to go after a class act like Pens goalie Johnson. And the most worthy opponent for Godard is Cooke.

Bradley lit him up, no question about it.

Bradley looked good, usually the guy who loses his helmet gets the worst of it, not this time. Nice toe to toe bout.

eh...not much to see here. neither guy landed anything substantial. bradley's punches were to the top of craig's helmet...craig's to bradley's shoulder. both slip and fall to the ice. clear draw.

it's amusing to see the 10 or so caps fans come out of the woodwork whenever one of their players comes close to actually winning a fight.
close...but not quite.

Is this the first fight Bradley ever won?

Craig finds out just how quick you can make the trip back down the turnpike to Scranton. Brads was throwing the jackhammer in this spirited fracas. Clear win for Bradley.

Damn, that's TWO Penguins Brads destroyed this game. I wish there were video of his hit on Matt Cooke.

Recently called up Craig wanted to be a tough guy and, what, stick up for Matt Cooke? Great. He got his ass kicked. And the Versus commentators talked about his nobility and class in doing the right thing for Cooke (and in having all his Wilkes-Barre teammates over for turkey on Thanksgiving: okay, that WAS nice. But What? For Bradley's ultra clean, ultra violent hit on a dirtbag who deserves every hit he takes (and for which Brads got 2 minutes in the box). More and more it's come to that: retaliations for clean, hard hits. So: Bradley gives up 20 lbs. to Craig but wasted little time in smacking him to the ice. Bravo, Brads.

I never get tired of seeing a Penguin taking a beating

Brads was a warrior tonight. He plastered Cooke earlier in the game and drew BS matching minors with Staal. Brads hit was clean. Even the announcers admitted almost as much. Then after Brads does his time, punk Cooke depends on one of his callups to try to get the piece of flesh. Bradley shows the kid how they do it in the NHL and wins pretty decisively although the kid did fight back hard against the assault.

Bradley gets in a fight, lands his punches, knocks the guy down, and doesn't bleed? Clear win for one of the grittiest Caps.

I have Bradley landing 3 of 9 to Craig's 1 of 9, good enough for a narrow win.

(On a side note, the voting shows 9 votes for Bradley, 1 for Craig, 0 draws, yet one of the reviews here has called the fight a draw. Strange.)
