Morrow, much like Bradley and Morris,
is a an above average ''non-fighter''...
but in this instance,
Torres uses his ''sandpaperosity''
to tug, and jostle his way to a spirited draw.

I was rooting for Morrow but it comes out a draw. Sandpaper?

Lots of flailing arms, but not a lot of hands hitting heads. Good energy, draw.

5 regulars missing from the blue line. thats insane. i'm a morrow fan, he's always been an underrated iginla-esque player. this was a good scrappy fight, lots of energy. not a lot landed but i don't care, that was feisty. i'm going draw and 6. 7 to the couple who stepped out of the dirty 30's for the game, seated next to the maniac.

Morrow and Torres rights. Most of Morrow's best shots land against Torres helmet, and Torres get his own shots in. Morrow tries to switch to left and the fighters lose balance and go to the ice. Draw in a nice little change of pace.
Morrow and Torres are guys who may have been better fighters if they hadn't developed other roles early in their career. Nice even scrap from the two strong skaters. Stars probably don't want to have Morrow off the ice in exchange for Torres here.

Torres with the clear win.

Slight WIn Morrow with more landed.

The Stars have to find a way to get healthy... and fast. They have subpar players anyway with the exception of Richards and Erickson, but the team overall that seem to play really well together. The defense after the first pair is horrid. Kari Lehtonen has played lights out despite the scores because they just arent his fault. joe nieuwendyk needs to get creative and find a way to bring a couple of top flight defensive guys here. F

Nice to see some signs of life from Torres who has been conspicuous by his lack of physical presence over the last month or so. Draw.
