This is so close. I almost want to give it to Westgarth just for eating up all of those punches and still throwing. I gotta call it a Draw but this is an incredible hockey fight. No hug-fest/jersey pull here.

Shelley wrecked Westgarth with major rights to the head. I don't know who got more punches, but Shelley's were huge.

With Shelley's season so far I was impressed, but Westgarth's pour defense gave Jody a shot. I called it a draw after thinkn Westgarth with a slight edge. Solid start for Shelley with Westy finishing strong. Thought we were gonna see this right after the Clifford fight.

What a great fight to watch, Very close and both guys throwing a lot of hands around, Shelleys flurry dont seem have have connected much or done much damage but westgarth follows with a nice uppercut followed by a nice series of short jabs. a pleasure to watch for any hockey fan!

I had to call this a draw, Shelley saw Westgarth screw up and play the puck so gave him a good wack in the back figuring if called, it would still at least be even, a bad play on his part but got lucky. Westgarth answers as Shelley dreams of Big John Scott pummeling Kevin into 70's pro rasslin'. Shelley never gets control as Westgarth's "Joisey Jabs" pops Shelley's helmet off like a rock'em sock'em robot and keeps him at bay long enough to cheer for no blood in the penalty box... This is what happens when you see so many puns and hear rabid descriptions from the color guy while reviewing too many matches in one sitting and try to make a mediocre draw into the match of the century..Buick Century maybe....ack! I did it again, you are now returned to your regular programming. Draw, final answer

Reviewing each fighter's best landing punches; Shelley landed five good rights (0:22 to 0:24), Westgarth landed a good uppercut immediately after this, Shelley landed two good rights (0:30 to 0:31), Westgarth responded with 6 jersey jabs (0:33 to 0:36), Shelley ended the flurry by landing a right.

Westgarth went for body shots and jersey jabs, neither of which seemed to bother Shelley at all. You can see him just take the flurry of jersey jabs without being affected, as he simply stood there and came back with a right. Shelley landed several good rights on Westgarth, and gets at least a narrow win here in a pretty good fight.

I don't see how this could be a win for Westgarth if you take the quality of the punches into account. Westgarth landed several body shots, but when you compare the amount that landed on each fighter's head, Shelley has 8 overhand rights to Westgarth's 1 uppercut and 6 jersey jabs.

Hey, was that Sean Avery throwing the quick first punch??? My god, someone else does it too, gasp. Avery Haters eat crow. Also, you must be blind if you didn't pick Shelly as the winner, must more solid punches.

What! "Knuckel Eater" westgarth actually looked like a fighter there and took on a bigtime fighter in Shelley in the end though had to give the bout to Shelley since he had the bigger blows.
