mudman55. How exactly was it charging. Never left his feet, and didn't take strides at an unexpecting player. He checked someone who forgot to look up at center ice with the puck. LOL

Perfectly clean hit, then easy win for Neil.

Canucks need Rick Rypien back in the lineup for just this reason. Neal would have a lot more to answer to and not get away with near as much as he does for as long as he does. Rypien is definitely a top middle weight that can handle a lot of the heavyweights and unlike most in this league can throw with both very effectively and way more accurate than most.. I hate watching all these lame ass "fighters" punching each other in the shoulders and elbows and mostly air. COME BACK SOON RICK!!!

I always find it funny when after a clean hit someone needs to challenge the player who dished out the clean hit, receive an Instigator penalty, and get their arse kicked! That Sedin boy thought he was playing back in Europe where you can skate around the rink with your head down and not pay the price for it. You've got to love the North American style of hockey!

Neil wins. The Canucks are in dire need of an enforcer. John Scott and D.J. King are both available.

That's the Canucks for you. Who do they have, Glass? What a joke team in the way of toughness! Daniel might as well of fought, he might become their new fighter too. He wouldn't be too far off.

I guess Rome gets some credit for stepping up and getting slapped around a little.

THEY NEED TO LOSE THE INSTIGATOR RULE NOW!!!

How did Rome instigate? He skated up to Neil and said; "would you like to kick my azz?"

neil gets the win in this fight.

Lol@sedinfan. Odjick! Loved him. I think the hit was legal. The "nucks" need a good heavyweight. Isn't McGrattan in the minors? Scott would be a good addition.

As usual, Nuck gets head handed to him.
No biggie in and of itself , but the lack of discipline displayed by Rome is indicative of the arrogance that could well do the Canucks as a team in. Henrik was running around with his head down, he got nailed with a perfectly clean hit, and he was OK after three or four seconds. Get over it and stop acting like tuff guys for no reason. Against a decent team the extra minor and putting your team way down in number of d-men could have had consequences.
Funniest thing of all was the Nuck bench banging their sticks and carrying on like a gang of pansies. Haven't seen that since the last time Rypien or Bieksa got thumped.

As much as I hate to say it, that was a nice, clean hit by Neil and a easy win against Rome.
Neil is still a d-bag.
