Boy it is hard to be a Canuck fan like me, so don't anyone call me a homer. I am shocked, but Bieksa got TKO'd. I was expecting the opposite, as Bieksa is usually the one bright light we have in the middle weight division. When I saw this matchup, I was expecting a knockout, but I had the wrong guy picked. Woe is me. I also need to apoligise to Kostopoulos. Last fight against Zenon, I mentioned he hadn't one a fight since 2006 i think and shouldn't waste his time. I guess it just goes to show that anyone can surprise anyone with these big boys throwing them. I am going to drown my sorrows now with a cold one, my team pride has been shattered! I hope we win the damn game.
Was there any doubt. I say...was there any doubt this day would come ! lol
Waited 3 yrs. for this but never stopped believing in Kostopoulos.
Everyone in town knew Bieksa would lead with his left hook.
What I felt TK did different from most of his losses was he stayed 'square' to his opponent this time. Other times, he would lean his head away and get into trouble this way.
If we can learn from TK and apply this quote to our everyday lives..
