Ryan Reaves vs Brandon Mashinter

Couple really good blows by Mashinter ... he gets the W

Pretty spirited bout but I gave Mashinter the win in a close fight. I heard the russian judge gave the linesman a 5 for his triple axel.

Good smash face contest. Both landed a couple. Draw

I like this Mashinter, never heard of him until now.

Win goes to Mashinter for knocking the linesman back.

Reaves, another in a long line of AHL caliber talent St.Louis puts in its lineup to try and intimidate. Find some guys who can actually play.

Good battle. I think Mash bashed him a few more times.

No brainer here. Props to the rookie.

Early in the game, guess they wanted to get it out of the way. Reaves is overmatched by the larger Mashinter. Reaves throws a couple rights before Mashinter unloads a huge right. They blast each other, but Reaves doesn't get past the shoulder of Mashinter. Not surprised it was brief, there is no way they can keep their balance throwing those bombs.

Mashinter looks like an up and comer. He throws with the proper hostility.

Reaves is a tough kid, but the bigger Mashinter whaled on him.

Mashinter threw a lot of hard and quick punches but only 2 of them landed at the begginning of the fight. Look forward to seeing him fight again though.

Mashinter manhandled the rookie. Props to Reaves for a couple good punches in there. Mashinter with the win.

Not much here...looking forward to seeing more of Reaves fights in the future and have him take over for Janssen.
