it is obvious that most of the opinions stated on this site are grossly misinformed. go to the games and see the real action instead of a 30 second clip.. dolts. you might learn something like....steve dowie is on the second line on the top team in the east for a reason. the guy can pass and he's feisty. if you see the action leading up to his bouts...you might see a [pattern. people jump him from all angles. look at this fight here and notice the devil coming right off the bench to challenge downie. most true fighters start problems when both guys are fresh. not this minor leaguer corrente. so in the future...look a little deeper.
and to the cap fan...it isn't always about who wins the fights...it's who is willing to go when challenged.. downie fights guys like chris neil...wonder how you woukld do..lol

I love to see Downie get beat. One of the true cheap little f@#ks like Matt Cooke left in the league. Any time someone punches one of theses guys I cheer. Even if he didn't get pounded thats ok. Makes me smile cause your not in a junior practice anymore and that guy isn't your teammate. I would love to see him or Cooke get hurt for the rest of their careers. That's what they try to do on a nightly basis.

Matt Corrente had the edge regardless of the falling down he got back up and landed a few stingers.

Give Downey another year in Tampa, there is almost no way The Captain will keep a piece of trash like this on his roster unless h has almost no other choice. . .

Downie will be in the AHL or one of the Hens AHLers.
