Behn Wilson You serious? That hit was clean? Friggin Freddy's arms were up in Lucic face. I can remember the last time that was a clean hit. Last I knew the fights were inspiring considering the bruins went on to embaraase the Thrashers and the fans loved it and were on their feet. To me it was what was needed. I would have to say you are way off on this one. Not sure how Lucic got a match and a game misconduct for one single punch that dropped Meyers.

Not for nothing but Horton is a way better fighter then Kane. To even say Kane is a good fighter because he knocked out Cooke makes him tough. Wow anyone can land a punch. Did you see the fight when Horton tore Assham a new a$$, now that is legit. Horton controlled and pounded Kane not even close. When Horton hit Kane when he was down Kane was on his way backup.

Sulley is a douche, not really a sucker punch dude. The was space between the two and most of the plyers had seperated so it was during the pile of players. Meyers was dramatic and barely got hit from the punch. Lucic didn't even hit him hard. It shouldn't even be a suspension or a game. Meyers should be suspended for the elbow and for leaving his feet, that is the sign of a dirty hit and suspension.

So Lucic should have sat back? Oh so what more people can bash Lucic for not sticking up for himself? Yeah ok, not really a sucker punch as it wasn't a blind punch and there was space between the two, sorry to say but Meyers made a dramatic performance on that punch, none the less Meyers deserved every bit of it. I don't care if your short, your not going to hit someone high, you would hit them lower. That would be like saying Chara hits a guy low because it's a tall guy hitting a short guy. It doesn't work that way it was a dirty hit.

King40041, I agree the bruins needed this spark but you are wrong on saying that was a clean hit. You weren't the only one at the game and I was over in that area and that hit was high and he left his feet. The punch by Lucic was called for and Meyers took a serious pansy dive.

Horton went to the Lucic school of cheapshots and graduated with honours.
There are only two Bruins that I would want on my team... they are Thornton and Chara.....
