Comments: The two drop the gloves behind the play and grab ahold of each other near the side boards. McGrattan starts off with a couple of jersey jabs as he backs Belak off before Belak throws an overhand right. McGrattan throws a right of his own and the two exchange a series of jersey jabs. Belak throws one which causes McGrattan to respond with four straight of his own. Belak throws an uppercut and the the two exchange long rights while continuing to keep their distance from one another. Belak throws two more uppercuts, causing McGrattan to return fire with two rights. McGrattan throws a right over the top that hits Belak's back. The two then exchange body shots and McGrattan throws another right before the linsemen finally step in to break things up.

Comments: The two come out of the penalty boxes and immediately drop the gloves, shedding the helmets as well. They grab ahold of each other and grapple, each one struggling to get an arm free. Laperriere is the first to get loose and he lands three rights to the side of Barnaby's head. Barnaby returns the favor with a similar combination and the two go back and forth with quick rights to the back and side of each other's heads. They grapple some more and Laperriere lands three more rights to the back of Barnaby's head. Barnaby answers with a right cross just before he shakes off his elbow pad. The two wrestle around some more and Laperriere connects with three more rights to the back of Barnaby's head. They then wrestle up against the benches and throw short punches until the linesmen grab them and end the fight.
