Grant and Brian Campbell collide along the side boards, sending each other falling to the ice. Grant gets back up to his feet, spots Peters, and the two drop the gloves. They square off for a short while and grab onto each other, each waiting for an opportunity to strike. Peters opens up and throws three quick rights, causing Grant to return fire with a pair of lefts. Peters throws two more rights and Grant throws five lefts just before landing an uppercut inside. They exchange lefts and Grant gets in a right just as the two are falling to the ice. The linesmen jump on top of the two and end the scrap.

A scrum develops along the boards with Thorburn and Commodore grabbing each other. Thorburn tries to get his hands on Anton Babchuk, but he is pulled away by Commodore. They drop the gloves and Thorburn starts things off with two overhand rights that hit Commodore's helmet. Commodore responds with a short right and Thorburn throws two lefts just before Commodore throws a right and left combination. They then exchange a pair of rights and wrestle around until Thorburn misses with a right and loses his balance, allowing Commodore to get in a right of his own before Thorburn falls to the ice. The linesmen are there immediately to break things up. Other Penalties: Maxime Talbot received a roughing.

Brashear runs into Orr at the blueline and shoves him just before the two decide to drop the gloves. They grab onto each other and Brashear throws a flurry of seven unanswered lefts until Orr eventually falls to the ice. Brashear gets in another left while Orr is down and the linesmen quickly rush in and grab the two, ending the fight.

Penner runs right into Miikka Kiprusoff while taking the puck in on net. Kiprusoff stops the shot and Phaneuf gives Penner a shot while he is still down on the ice. Penner gets back up and the two immediately drop the gloves. Phaneuf connects with two short rights before he loses his balance and goes down to a knee. Penner takes advantage and throws three rights at a kneeling Phaneuf while a linesman comes in to break things up. Phaneuf stands back up and throws two more rights, continuing the scrap. They wrestle along the glass and exchange a few rights until the linesmen start to move in once again. Phaneuf connects with a late left hand and Penner throws two overhand rights to the side of Phaneuf's head in response. The linesmen are then able to separate the two and the fight finally ends. Other Penalties: Penner received a goaltender interference.

The two come together while skating past the blueline and Prust quickly drops his gloves, grabbing ahold of Thornton's jersey. Thornton waits for a moment and then decides to shed his mitts as well with Prust letting go so the two can square off at center ice. They grab ahold of each other and Prust throws two quick uppercuts while Thornton connects with a few jersey-jabs. Prust continues to throw uppercuts that just miss the target and Thornton responds with a series of four rights of his own. The two then go back and forth with rights until Thornton switches hands and throws four straight lefts while Prust tries to duck away from the punches. Prust comes back with two rights and Thornton switches back to the right hand. They exchange rights once again just before Thornton wrestles Prust to the ice and the linesmen come in to end the fight. Other Penalties: Prust received an unsportsmanlike conduct.

The two meet up at center ice and quickly drop the mitts. They grab ahold of each other and quickly start throwing punches, exchanging simultaneous right hands. Orr throws two rights followed by one that misses over the top just before Boulton comes back with a right and an uppercut. They then exchange rights and Orr's shot connects right on the button, sending Boulton crumbling to the ice. Orr gets in another right while Boulton is on his knees, but the linesmen are quick to get in there and push Orr away. Boulton quickly gets up and each skate to their respective penalty boxes.

Behind the play the two drop the gloves and quickly grab each other. Exelby throws six straight rights to start things off while Hollweg attempts to block the punches. Hollweg throws three rights and misses with another just before Exelby goes over the top with an overhand right that causes him to lose his balance and fall to the ice. The linesmen allow the two to stand back up and Exelby throws three rights until he switches hands and connects with a right uppercut. The two then hold on and the linesmen intervene shortly after. Other Penalties: Exelby received a slashing.

Behind the play the two drop the gloves and square off from center ice to the blueline. They grab ahold of each other and exchange jersey-jabs until McGrattan fires away with two rights. Cairns continues to jab away at McGrattan, putting his opponent's jersey in his face while throwing left jabs. McGrattan answers with an uppercut and two rights before the two wrestle along the boards. McGrattan throws another right and Cairns throws a left uppercut, causing McGrattan to throw a flurry of four quick rights in response. The two then go back and forth with numerous rights for quite a while, each landing a few good ones. Cairns removes his mouthpiece and McGrattan then throws an uppercut just as the linesmen are coming in to separate the two. Cairns gets in a short right, but they are then sent to their respective penalty boxes.

Svitov slams Ladislav Smid head-first into the boards. Thoresen is the first Oiler to grab Svitov and they drop the gloves and start to grapple. They twist around and while Thoresen tries to slip under Svitov's arm, Svitov gets him in a bit of a headlock. The skate around for a bit locked in that awkward position and not until the linesmen come to break it up can Svitov get a right free and get off a couple of over the top rights. Other Penalties: Thoresen received an instigator, unsportsmanlike conduct and misconduct; Svitov a boarding major.

Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other. Clowe throws two rights while Jackman pumps away with a series of jersey-jabs. Clowe throws another right and an uppercut and Jackman throws four more jersey-jabs. Jackman switches hands and throws a short left just before he goes back to the right and throws two right crosses. Clowe answers with four rights during the flurry and Jackman throws a right. Clowe throws two uppercuts and Jackman misses with a right, losing his balance and falling forward to the ice. Clowe connects with a right while Jackman is on his way down and the linesmen quickly jump on top of the two and grab them once they hit the ice.

Moen answers back with two jersey-jabs and they go back and forth with quick, wild rights. Moen throws two rights and McIver goes down to a knee only to quickly get back up and throw a right of his own. They go back and forth with long rights while they spin around until Moen loses his balance and falls to the ice. The linesmen allow Moen to return to his feet and the two exchange rights once again before Moen spins to the ice and McIver holds him there, allowing the linesmen to skate on in.

Jay McClement appears to score, but the goal is waved off. Behind the play, Shelley and Walker have dropped the gloves and locked horns. The camera gets there a little late but it shows Walker throwing three overhand rights and a body shot at a bleeding Shelley. The two grapple for a while with Shelley throwing two locked-out rights and they skate up along the boards. Walker throws a couple of shots at Shelley's back, followed up by four overhand rights to the back of Shelley's head while Shelley returns fire with two short rights of his own. They exchange rights once more and Walker pins Shelley up against the glass, holding him there as Shelley gets one more right in just before the linesmen come in.

A scrum develops near the side boards and Eager and Witt end up together. Witt gives Eager a facewash and Eager drops his gloves, missing with a right. Eager shoves Witt, trying to get him to drop his gloves, but it takes a right hand in order for Witt to do so. They wrestle around for a long while until Eager throws a short right that hits Witt's helmet. Witt responds with an uppercut and a right and Eager throws two rights and two uppercuts while trying to shake off his elbow pad. Witt then wrestles him to the ice and gets in a right, but the linesmen are right there to grab the two. Other Penalties: Mike Richards and Andy Hilbert each received a roughing.
