Kane hits O'Brien along the boards and O'Brien takes exception, grabbing Kane just before the two quickly drop the gloves. They wrestle around and Kane throws a short uppercut that misses followed by a body shot that connects. Kane then tries to take O'Brien's helmet off, but they fall to the ice and the linesmen come in to break things up.

Davison hits Tyler Arnason hard into the boards from behind twice in a row causing Laperriere to charge at Davison and drop his gloves. Laperriere grabs ahold of Davison, who drops his mitts as well, but the two quickly fall to the ice and the linesmen intervene. The two are given roughings and are sent to the penalty box. As soon as they get out of the boxes, they drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other at center ice. They exchange a good amount of jersey-jabs until Davison throws two rights while they spin around. Laperriere ties Davison up and throws five short rights just before Davison returns fire with another right. Davison throws an overhand right to the back of Laperriere's helmet and then slams his opponent to the ice, causing the linesmen to jump on top and grab them.

The two drop the gloves and square off to the left side of the Phoenix net. Boogaard grabs ahold of Laraque's jersey and connects with a right just before throwing two more. Laraque responds with a wild left that knocks Boogaard's helmet off, but Boogaard loses his balance and goes down to his knees, allowing Laraque to throw a flurry of three quick lefts while Boogaard is getting back up to his feet. Boogaard gets Laraque turned around and connects with a right to the back of his helmet, but Laraque quickly rights himself and throws five short rights to the top of Boogaard's head. Laraque then pushes Boogaard down to the ice and the linesmen quickly come in.

McCarty nails Jamie Rivers along the boards while he plays the puck up ice causing Salvador to skate over and challenge McCarty. They drop the gloves and quickly tie up with Salvador throwing three rights to the back of McCarty's head shortly after. They then wrestle around for a while until both get loose and throw punches: McCarty with an inside right, Salvador with an overhand left. They fall to the ice and the linesmen come in to break things up.

Janssen knocks Orr to the ice with a hit along the boards, causing Orr to get up and go right after Janssen and the two drop the gloves. They grapple, each trying to get free and land a shot until Orr starts things off with a few short rights. Janssen comes back with a right just as Orr opens up and they go back and forth with the right hand. They tie up once again until both create some distance and go toe-to-toe with punches: Janssen goes with the right, Orr switches hands and tries the left. Orr lands three straight lefts just before Janssen returns fire with a right and the two go back and forth with rights once again. Janssen throws a mix of a couple rights and uppercuts with Orr getting in a left, but the linesmen grab the two while they are still going, ending the fight.

Towards the end of the game these two drop the gloves right after a faceoff. Kostopoulos' helmet comes off right away as they grapple in tight, up against the boards. Kostopoulos takes Bell's helmet off while they wrestle and Bell gets his right free, but comes up short with an overhand shot. Kostopoulos responds with a couple of wild rights that Bell ducks away from. Bell switches hands and lands a couple of lefts as Kostopoulos gets twisted around and falls to the ice. Bell switches hands again and throws another right as he falls with Kostopoulos. The linesmen are right there to break it up.

In a weird turn of events, Weber then gets Laperriere's jersey over his head. Laperriere throws two lefts, but the linesmen are quick to get in there and end the fight as neither fighter can see what they are doing.

Campbell eventually falls to the ice and attempts to get at Rupp, but the linesmen are right there to break things up and end the fight.

Montador responds with a quick right, but Janssen is right there to answer with two of his own. Janssen throws another right just before shaking his elbow pad off, but Montador falls to the ice before any more damage can be done. The linesmen move in and the two are then separated. Other Penalties: Montador received an instigator and misconduct; Janssen a charging.

Eager throws two lefts while the two are down and the linesmen quickly move in.

Antero Niittymaki makes the save on a diving Drew Stafford shot and behind the play, Richards has challenged Paetsch and the two have dropped the gloves. They grab ahold of each other and Richards throws four overhand rights to the back of Paetsch's head with Paetsch returning fire in the form of a right as well. Richards connects with an uppercut followed by three more rights and Paetsch throws a short right before he falls to the ice. Richards gets in another right while he is down, but the linesmen are there to quickly grab the two.
