This one starts by center ice. Both guys drop the mits and square off. After a nice square off McGrattan grabs on with his left. McGrattan gets things started with a nice left jersey-jab. He tries to follow that up with a right hand, but misses over the top. Cairns answers that with a nice right hand to the side of the face. Cairns then throws another right hand that hits the top of McGrattan's helmet. McGrattan throws a left hand that may have landed. Cairns throws a right that comes up short. McGrattan follows with a right, but Cairns ducks it and throws a right that looks to catch the helmet. McGrattan then throws a right which misses over the top. McGrattan gets in 2-3 jersey-jabs and then is hit with a left jersey-jab by Cairns which knocks his helmet off. Cairns throws three more left jersey-jabs and then McGrattan attemps a right hand, but it is blocked by Cairns' left arm. Cairns attempts a big left, but misses and McGrattan quickly answers with a right, but also misses. Cairns then throws another right which lands nicely. McGrattan then gets in a nice jersey-jab which puts Cairns off-balance. With Cairns off-balance McGrattan throws a right hand, but it doesn't look to land as Cairns falls to the ice.

Biron comes way out of his net to play the puck near the wall and Ovechkin checks him. Biron comes back and pushes Ovechkin who holds his ground. Gaustad comes in glove-punching Ovechkin along with a couple of other Sabres. The Caps catch up to the play and a larger scrum ensues. Out of the fray Gaustad is tied up with Morrisonn. Gaustad has Morrisonn bent over and is throwing uppercuts, one may have buckled him. Morrisonn recovers and throws a punch and then grabs Gaustad's leg and takes him down. Other Penalties: Martin Biron and Alexander Ovechkin each received a roughing.

Offsides is called and Jochen Hecht gets bumped by Chris Clark and Hecht gives Witt a slash. A scrum ensues and Witt grabs onto Vanek, bends him over and starts feeding him lefts and the linesmen quickly come over to peel Witt off of Vanek. Other Penalties: Witt received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct; Vanek a slashing; Chris Clark a roughing. Thomas Vanek did not receive a fighting major.

The two meet up along the boards and drop the gloves. Bradley is swinging away with huge wild right hands while Mair is attempting to gain position. One of Bradley's rights connects and Mair looks to be stunned for a split second. Mair regains his composure and starts throwing lefts while Bradley continues to throw wild rights. Mair switches hands and may have connected with a right while Bradley switches to the left. Bradley gets Mair bent over and throws a wild left to the back of the helmet of Mair and they both tumble to the ground.

The Sharks go offsides. Thornton and Brookbank bump, drop the gloves and quickly grab on. They're in tight and Brookbank quickly removes Thornton's helmet. Brookbank starts off with some rights, tossing in an uppercut in between a couple of shots to Thornton's head. Thornton returns fire with a left that hits Brookbank's back. Brookbank then throws a right while trying to pull up the back of Thornton's jersey with his left. Thornton's trying to throw a right at the same time, but Brookbank's jersey move causes them both to fall and the linesmen quickly come in while they're on the ice.

There's a stoppage of play and these two meet up and drop the gloves. The camera is late getting there. Jackman is throwing some lefts, and then switches to his right for a couple of more. Goertzen returns fire with some rights of his own. Neither seems to be connecting. Jackman throws a right body shot and then some lefts, once again, they don't seem to be landing. They then throw simultaneous rights that connect. Jackman throws a big right uppercut that misses as Goertzen throws a right that can't reach. Jackman throws another right uppercut, shorter this time, which might have connected. They then exchange rights back and forth, a few a piece, with Jackman landing one or two more. They tire and the linesmen come in.

They drop the gloves near the benches as they skate out towards center ice. Boulerice tries to grab on as McGrattan connects with a jab. Boulerice skates back and both guys latch on. McGrattan puts a left in Boulerice's face and proceeds to throw about 10 consecutive rights, knocking Boulerice's helmet off. Boulerice gets a hand up in McGrattan's face causing McGrattan to miss with a couple of rights as Boulerice leans away. McGrattan throws a jersey-jab and another right as they exchange rights for a little. Boulerice then switches hands and lands a nice left that turns the tide. Boulerice starts raining rights down on McGrattan as he bends down to get away from the punches. McGrattan misses with a right as Boulerice connects with a big left that knocks McGrattan off-balance and to the ice.

The whistle blows and the two come together in front of the Penguins net. They drop the gloves and Nieminen throws a quick right before Murley throws him to the ice. Murley throws an elbow when they are down and the linesmen quickly dive in to break things up. Nieminen trys to grab Murley through the linesmen, but is quickly stopped. Other Penalties: Mark Recchi received a high sticking.

The puck is up in the air and Boulerice is ready to play it when it hits the ice. He's nailed by Scott Mellanby and Boulerice goes right after Mellanby when he gets up, throwing a gloved right and a couple of more punches before Mellanby turtles and the linesmen start to come after Boulerice. Boulton skates over, drops his gloves, and challenges Boulerice and Jesse gladly obliges. They tie up and Boulton throws three rights to the back of Boulerice's head and Boulerice returns fire with an uppercut. Boulerice loses his grip and tries to grab on to Boulton's jersey. Boulton starts throwing rights as Boulerice grabs on. Boulton throws another right as Boulerice gets his left hand in Boulton's face and throws a short right. Boulton throws a huge uppercut that misses and causes him to lose his balance and go down to a knee. Boulton gets back up and throws three more rights as Boulerice comes back with a couple of rights and an uppercut as he shakes off his elbow pad. Boulton switches hands and throws a left before he throws Boulerice down to the ice and the linesmen come in. Other Penalties: Boulerice received an unsportsmanlike conduct; Scott Mellanby a charging.

They start pushing and shoving after Parros hit Simpson into the boards and decide to drop the gloves. They grab on and Simson throws a jersey-jab. As Simpson throws another jab, Parros connects with a right to the side of Simpson's helmet that sends him to the ice. Parros throws another right when Simpson is down before the linesmen come in.

The players start pushing and shoving after the Blue Jackets push the puck in the net after the whistle. Horcoff and Goertzen come out of the scrum. When the camera finally focuses in on the two, it shows Goertzen landing two rights as he wrestles Horcoff to the ice. Other Penalties: Steve Staios and Michael Rupp each received a roughing.

Sutherby takes a shot at Brodeur and Brown immediately goes after him, throwing a gloved punch and shoving him into the boards. All of the other players start pushing and shoving as well. They drop the gloves and start exchanging right hands. Sutherby gets knocked off-balance against the boards as Brown is able to land numerous right hands on Sutherby. Sutherby is able to regain his balance and the two wrestle along the boards. Sutherby gets loose and throws a left. Brown returns fire with a couple of body blows followed by an uppercut. Sutherby comes back with a couple of rights of his own until he loses his balance and both fighters fall to the ice.

They start pushing and shoving along the boards and drop the gloves. Both fighters are wearing visors, but don't remove their helmets. They grab on and Ballard throws a short right, switches hands, and then throws two short lefts before Iginla wrestles him down to the ice. Ballard gets back up as Iginla misses with a right. Iginla rips Ballard's helmet off as Ballard is throwing rights. Iginla connects with an overhand right as Ballard attempts a body shot, but gets tied up. Iginla gets his left hand loose and starts raining down punches on Ballard while he is bent over. They tie up and Iginla throws a body shot. Iginla then throws a left that misses and knocks both players off-balance and to the ice. Iginla throws another left as they are falling.

McCarty nails Oleg Saprykin along the boards causing O'Donnell to come in after him. The gloves fly off and McCarty quickly starts throwing short lefts. O'Donnell comes back with some rights and the two start going toe-to-toe. McCarty switches hands and starts throwing rights as O'Donnell continues throwing right hands. McCarty then ends the fight by wrestling O'Donnell to the ice. Other Penalties: O'Donnell received an instigator and misconduct.

Barnaby comes back with a short left as Mayers returns fire with a right to the back of the head that knocks Barnaby's helmet off. They struggle to get loose for a little bit until Mayers throws a right that knocks Barnaby off-balance. Barnaby is able to stay on his feet and takes another right from Mayers. Mayers tries to get his elbow pad off as Barnaby tears off Mayers' helmet. Mayers then lands two overhand lefts as Barnaby is trying to get loose. They tie each other up as Barnaby tells the linesmen not to interfere just yet, throwing a short right. Mayers gets his right hand loose and lands two overhand rights. Barnaby throws a left that hits Mayers' shoulder. They tie up again, then Mayers get loose and throws a right that knocks Barnaby off-balance and sends him to the ice. Mayers throws another right as they are down.
