The two start talking while Montador plays the puck and skates up ice. They talk some more and finally drop the gloves behind the play. They square off for a short while before they grab on with Montador throwing two quick lefts. They wrestle around in tight until both get loose as they exchange rights to the side of each other's head. Montador then gets Janssen turned around and bent over as he lands 5-6 rights to the back of Janssen's head. Janssen then does the same to Montador, but is unable to get any punches off. Montador turns back around and lands three right crosses before switching hands and throwing two lefts. Janssen is able to land a right of his own while Montador is throwing. Janssen misses with an uppercut as the two exchange right hands while spinning. Janssen then throws a couple of more rights that knock both players off-balance and to the ice.

Morrow nails Dustin Brown with an open-ice hit that leaves Brown slow to get up. Kostopoulos skates down and immediately goes after Morrow as they drop the gloves with Morrow starting things off with a short right. Kostopoulos throws a right of his own before Morrow starts to hammer away at him while he is turned around with 5-6 rights that knock Kostopoulos off-balance and spinning to the ice. Morrow lands a few more short rights that hit helmet while they are down on the ice.

Curtis Sanford makes a save and Burrows is on the doorstep. Wideman pushes Burrows back and Burrows gives him a shove back. A hard shove and stick back by Wideman and the gloves come off. Wideman gets off two hard rights and then takes off Burrows' helmet. Wideman then gets off another few rights to the back of Burrows' head and both fall to the ice. Both players are on their knees and Wideman has Burrows bent over and gets off a couple of more rights before the linesmen come in.

A scrum develops in front of the Calgary net after the whistle blows. Chris Simon skates in and gives Bell a couple of shoves before Phaneuf grabs Bell from behind. Bell gives Phaneuf a little elbow before they start talking. Bell turns around and the two drop the gloves near the side boards with the linesmen trying to seperate the two. Phaneuf throws three quick rights before trying to rip Bell's helmet off. Bell throws a right as Phaneuf comes back with a few rights that hit the side of Bell's head. They wrestle around before Phaneuf throws two short uppercuts as Bell throws a right before they go against the glass. Phaneuf throws an overhand right while Bell is bent over. They skate out from against the boards as Bell throws a right and then switches hands, landing a couple of jersey-jabs. They then grapple for a short while before they exchange lefts, with Bell's punch landing. Bell throws another overhand right as Phaneuf lands a short right to the back of Bell's head before the linesmen intervene. Bell has a small cut on his nose as the two skate away to the penalty box.

Before the faceoff even begins, McLean and Comrie are already talking. Right after the two take the faceoff, they quickly drop the gloves. Comrie starts things off with a mix of 7-8 rights and uppercuts, a couple of them landing. McLean throws two rights in defense as Comrie continues to throw rights with McLean's left hand in his face. Comrie throws more rights towards the back of McLean's head as he is bent over, trying to avoid punches. Comrie lands three right hands as McLean stands back up. McLean misses with a right, allowing Comrie to land a right hand right on the button. Comrie throws two more short rights before they grapple for a short while; McLean trying to rip off Comrie's helmet during the struggle. Comrie is able to get himself loose and ducks out of McLean's way, skating further down so the two can square off once again. They grab on again with McLean throwing a short right, switching hands, and throwing a left as Comrie struggles to get free. Comrie gets loose and lands two rights to the back of McLean's head as McLean throws a right in response. The two exchange short punches before Comrie connects with a big uppercut. McLean goes down to his knees, obviously fatigued and the linesmen come in to end the fight.

Belak throws 3-4 more jersey-jabs and a quick right as Janssen throws a right. Janssen throws two rights as both players struggle to get loose. Belak then throws a right as Janssen gets Belak up against the boards and throws a right of his own. They grapple before Belak throws a short right with Janssen returning fire with two rights that hit the back of Belak's helmet. They wrestle up against the boards until the linesmen come in. Other Penalties: Belak received a roughing.

Fedoruk hits Mark Rycroft from behind and is immediately challenged by Walker. Walker starts things off by throwing a couple of short rights mixed in with a few body shots. They grapple for a short while up against the boards until Walker gets loose and throws four quick rights, a couple landing, until Fedoruk gets his right hand tied up. They wrestle around for a bit with Fedoruk getting his right hand free and connecting with a right to the back of Walker's head. Walker throws a jersey-jab with the right and misses with two lefts before connecting with three straight rights that rock Fedoruk. Fedoruk comes back with a left and the two start exchanging numerous punches: Fedoruk with lefts, Walker with rights, as Fedoruk gets the better of the exchange. Fedoruk ties up Walker's right hand and attempts a locked-out left as the two wrestle around some more. Fedoruk connects with two lefts to the side of Walker's head as Walker goes down to his knees. Fedoruk switches hands and lands a right as Walker just holds on. Fedoruk throws another right as Walker grazes Fedoruk with a big right that knocks Walker off-balance and to the ice. Other Penalties: Walker received an instigator and misconduct; Fedoruk a boarding.

They stay at arms length of each other while Jackman tries to shake off his elbow pad. They wrestle around some more until they come up against the boards. Jackman throws a jersey-jab and two rights before he gets Morrow turned around backwards. Jackman throws four lefts to the back of Morrow's head before Morrow just falls to the ice.

They wrestle around in tight before Perrott rips Walker's helmet off and throws a left that is blocked by Walker. Both players try to throw a few short punches inside with nothing landing. Perrott switches hands and throws 5-6 rabbit punches to the back of Walker's head before Walker throws an overhand right. Perrott switches hands and throws a flurry of lefts before Walker throws three punches to the back of Perrott's helmet. Perrott throws a short right before he loses his balance and falls to his knees. The linesmen come in shortly after.

They drop the gloves and tie up as Ott lands a quick right. They both struggle to get loose before Ott lands a right that puts Johnson to his knees. Ott then throws 6-7 rights as Johnson struggles to get back up, never really regaining his balance. Johnson falls to his knees again as Ott throws another right before the linesmen come in.

Thornton switches hands and throws 4-5 lefts as Jackman returns fire with 4-5 rights of his own. They exchange punches again before Thornton attemps an uppercut. Jackman throws a right before they get in close and grapple until Thornton throws a left. Thornton switches hands and throws a right before both players try a couple of locked-out punches. Thornton throws two rights as Jackman throws about 5-6 jersey-jabs. Thornton then throws another right before they hold on and wait for the linesmen to come in.
