Comments: They start pushing and shoving before the faceoff. After the puck drops, Boogaard gives Simon a few cross-checks before they drop the gloves. They grab on and grapple in tight as Simon takes Boogaard's helmet off. They continue to wrestle around until Simon gets his left hand free and connects with four straight punches as Boogaard backs away and misses with a right that Simon ducks under. Boogaard then throws three long rights to the back of Simon's helmet. Boogaard misses with a right before they lose their balance and fall to the ice.

Comments: Right off of the faceoff, the two drop the gloves and square off. Parros grabs on and tries to keep his balance as Peters throws a right with Parros returning fire with one of his own. They exchange right hands once again before Peters throws another right. Parros then loses his balance and falls to the ice with Peters on top. Peters lands a right while they are falling.

Comments: Bieska gives Colley a cross check to the back as Colley plays the puck up ice. Bieska goes to play the puck up against the boards and is the victim of two consecutive checks from Eric Godard and Colley. Colley falls and drops the gloves with Bieska as soon as he returns to his feet. Colley throws a gloved right and two right crosses as Bieska throws four quick lefts with one or two landing. The two then go toe-to-toe with punches: Bieska with rights, Colley with lefts. Colley throws a left as he buries his head in Bieska's chest. Bieska throws a right and tries to get Colley's jersey over his head as Colley goes down to his knees. Bieska throws a couple of rights to the back of a kneeling Colley before the linesmen intervene.

Comments: They drop the gloves behind the play and square off. Barnaby grabs on as Odelein throws 5-6 rights to the back of Barnaby's helmet. Odelein then misses with an uppercut and throws a few more rights to the back of Barnaby's head, all of them hitting helmet. They wrestle around in tight as Barnaby lands a couple of short rights while Odelein struggles to get loose. Barnaby switches hands and connects with a left jab as Odelein throws three rights that hit the side of Barnaby's helmet. They wrestle around as Barnaby gets in a couple of rights while they are in close quarters. Odelein switches hands and misses with a left as Barnaby throws a right. Barnaby throws another right that hits the side of Odelein's helmet before telling the linesmen to back off. Odelein throws two rights to the side of Barnaby's head as Barnaby continues to tell the linesmen that they aren't done just yet. Barnaby throws a jersey-jab and then an uppercut as Odelein just holds on, obviously fatigued. Barnaby throws a couple of more uppercuts before the linesmen come in.

Semenov lands two rabbit punches and misses with another as Mayers struggles to get free. Mayers then loses his balance and falls to the ice, pulling Semenov down with him.

Simon turns around as they drop the gloves and square off. Simon grabs on and throws a left that Godard is able to duck under. They wrestle around as Godard lands a quick right with Simon returning fire with 6-7 lefts as he tries to keep his balance; a few of the punches connect. Simon connects with another left as Godard throws two rights that knock Simon off-balance and to the ice with Godard on top.

Nash gives LeClair a facewash before they drop the gloves and wrestle over towards the bench. Nash pushes LeClair over the bench. Cale Hulse prys the two apart and they talk a bit before going their seperate ways. Other Penalties: LeClair received a game misconduct.

Hainsey gets back to his feet as Odelein throws three rights before Hainsey even has his gloves off. They wrestle around as Hainsey gets Odelein's jersey up and over his head. The linesmen intervene shortly after. Other Penalties: Odelein received an instigator and misconduct; Nikolai Zherdev an elbowing and holding; Sidney Crosby a holding.

Shelley then wrestles Roy to the ice and holds him there until the two return to their feet. Shelley connects with two rights as Roy throws two overhand rights that miss. They each attempt a locked-out right before Shelley comes over the top with a right that knocks Roy's helmet off. They fall to the ice again and the linesmen come in shortly after. Other Penalties: Each player received a game misconduct.

They come off the boards and wrestle some more as Armstrong briefly goes down to his knees and gets back up. Hainsey lands three more rights while Armstrong is bent over before Hainsey just pushes Armstrong to the ice and the linesmen come in. Other Penalties: Armstrong received an elbowing; Hainsey a roughing.

Malone tries to throw a couple of rights through a linesman's arm while they are down on the ice.

Ricci tries to get in another shot of his own but Peter Schaefer is there to push him away. Neil and O'Donnell wrestle along the boards as Neil gets his right hand free and throws one. Neil switches hands and throws two lefts as O'Donnell just holds on. O'Donnell gets free and lands two rights to the side of Neil's head just as Neil connects with a right. Neil tries to shake off his elbow pad as the two wrestle against the glass before O'Donnell throws a right that hits Neil's helmet. They grapple some more as Neil lands three overhand rights to the back of O'Donnell's head as O'Donnell fires back with a short rabbit punch. Neil switches hands and throws a left and an uppercut as O'Donnell throws a right. Neil lands two more rights to the side of O'Donnell's head before the linesmen come in and end the fight. Other Penalties: O'Donnell received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct.
