Hordi punches Antropov in the face so Marchment comes in. He gives Hordichuk a light shot in the face to convince him to throw down. Darcy goes with it and they both throw wildly. They're in a spin and Hordi is able to get an off-balance Marchment to go down and throws a shot or two at him while he's going down. Mar 09, 2004 Florida Panthers Darcy Hordichuk
1pd 05:25 Toronto Maple Leafs Nathan Perrott
Hordichuk goes to his opposite wing so you knew this was gonna happen. Seemed Perrott knew it was coming and he got the jump and landed two quick punches right at the glove drop. They start throwing, Hordi with the rights, Perrott with the lefts. Each are swinging a bit wild, and Perrott is off-balance for the most part. Hordichuk's able to push-n-tug Perrott down and throw a few more rights as the linesmen come in.
Voted winner: Nathan Perrott (39.5%) - Voted rating: 6.0

They're pushing and shoving in front of Theodore and they decide to drop the gloves. Burnett starts out throwing two rights, hard to see where they hit. He switches hands and goes to the left and gets off three shots, the first two possibly landing, and the third missing or grazing. The momentum causes Burnett to fall with Langdon on top.

Mar 08, 2004 Colorado Avalanche Kurt Sauer
3pd 08:41 Vancouver Canucks Brad May
Bertuzzi challenges Moore all over the ice. Moore wants nothing to do with him. As Moore is skating away, Bertuzzi lands a gloved-sucker-punch to the side of Moore's face, knocking him out instantly. Moore falls face-first onto the ice with Bertuzzi on top of him. Others pile on, and everyone on the ice is getting together. Hedberg left his crease while all of this was going on and challenges Aebischer, but Aebischer simply pointed to the clock and wanted nothing to do with Hedberg. May finds Sauer for his third (and automically final) fight of the night. They grapple to start, then May gets loose and the camera pans away from the fight and the announcers say that May landed a huge left that hurt Sauer. The camera then goes back to the combatants, only to see May over Sauer. Other Penalties: Johan Hedberg received a goalie leaving the crease penalty; Todd Bertuzzi an attempt to injure; May a double game misconduct; Sauer a game misconduct.
Voted winner: Brad May (88.9%) - Voted rating: 4.9

Mar 08, 2004 Colorado Avalanche Rob Blake
1pd 17:42 Vancouver Canucks Jarkko Ruutu
Ruutu wants this one. He's skating latched on the Blake and they take off the gloves and it is on. Blake starts with several left crosses and maybe one lands. Rutuu comes back with a right as they wrestle toward the boards. Blake's jersey gets tied up and his helmet is gone. He gets the left free and hits the glass with a left and then tosses another that misses. Rutuu gets a good grip with this left hand and then he starts with the rights. He tosses two that land. The first one puts Blake down. His head almost rams off the boards on the way down.

Mar 07, 2004 St. Louis Blues Reed Low
3pd 15:58 Buffalo Sabres Eric Boulton
Low is on top of Boulton who is practically on the ice as this starts. Despite this advantageous start for Low, Boulton rights himself and these go on a tilt-O-whirl round-house free-for-all. They must do about three or four complete 360s during the course of a brief, but spirited scrap. Both are throwing hard punches with varying degrees of success. Both are losing their jerseys when Low again ends up on top on Boulton. Low challenges Buffalo bench on his way to the box. Other Penalties: Boulton received a game misconduct.
