Oct 10, 2003 Chicago Blackhawks Jason Strudwick
3pd 12:29 Colorado Avalanche Jim Cummins
Both drop em after the faceoff and circle. They come together and both start unloading with a lot of jabs. Cummins starts strong and gets a few good rights jabs. Strudwick returns some, but a lot are missing. Cummins then gets another good right that causes Strudwick to turn away. Strudwick then returns with a big left and Cummins tries to hold on. Strudwick starts throwing uppercuts and lands a couple and throws a couple of more jabs as well. Linesmen finally come in and break them up against the boards. Cummins has a cut on his nose. Great fight.

Oct 09, 2003 New York Islanders Jason Wiemer
3pd 19:41 Washington Capitals Brian Sutherby
The Isles' Bergenheim partially collides with Kolzig and Kolzig takes exception and yells some words at Bergenheim. Witt starts lookng for trouble and some revenge for the spill Kolzig took. Bergenheim then rams Ettinger into the boards and a few seconds later at center ice a brawl/scrum erupts. Witt goes after Cairns and in come the fighters. Everyone has a partner with Witt-Cairns and Sutherby-Wiemer as the main attractions. The Witt/Carins scrap is between the linesmen so not much happens. At the same time, Sutherby and Weimer have each other's jerseys. Suddenly, Sutherby gives Wiemer a right and away they go. Weimer starts throwing lefts, a couple connected. Sutherby than lands a strong right, before Wiemer answers with a left. After some quick grappling, Sutherby loses his balance along the boards and goes down. Meanwhile, Godard had to be restrained by Kerry Fraser as he somehow did not find a partner during the skirmish. Godard dropped the gloves, but didn't give Fraser a hard time about being restrained. Other Penalties: Janne Niinimaa, Eric Godard, Eric Cairns and Brendan Witt each received a roughing.

Oct 09, 2003 Anaheim Ducks Todd Simpson
1pd 17:57 Nashville Predators Scott Walker
Fair squareoff, Walker dives in and throws a shot that might of hit Simpson's chin. They both start throwing extremely wild shots and both fighters are landings, maybe a couple of more by Simpson. Walker had bad balance, but managed to get in his fair share of shots. Walker was bleeding after the fight. The lineseman let this one go on for a while. Very scrappy, entertaining fight. Simpson received a game misconduct because his jersey was not tied down. Other Penalties: Simpson received a game misconduct.

Oct 09, 2003 Anaheim Ducks Garrett Burnett
1pd 11:16 Nashville Predators Wade Brookbank
After getting roughings earlier, they finally find each other and it has to be some of the worst camera work ever. Came in extremely late, but when the camera got there, they were throwing light shots between the linseman.

Oct 09, 2003 Montreal Canadiens Gordie Dwyer
2pd 05:30 Ottawa Senators Chris Neil
They come together along the boards and drop 'em. Lots of hugging in this one, mainly by Dwyer. Neil's punches were a little more effective as Dwyer's helmet came off early. Gordie also slipped at one point and went into the boards pretty hard. A lot of short punches in a fight which lasted about 45 seconds. You could tell they were both dog tired at the end.
Voted winner: Chris Neil (75.0%) - Voted rating: 4.3

Oct 08, 2003 Anaheim Ducks Garrett Burnett
1pd 01:58 Dallas Stars John Erskine
In between the blue line and the center ice line, by the penalty box, the gloves come off easy. They're each throwing heavy rights. After a couple, Erskine lands a nice one, but Burnett's helmet is still on. Erskine throws a couple more, Burnett's balance seems to be off from the get-go. While throwing Burnett is slipping and pulls Erskine down with him.
Voted winner: John Erskine (65.0%) - Voted rating: 5.4

Oct 08, 2003 Anaheim Ducks Todd Simpson
1pd 00:20 Dallas Stars Bill Guerin
Along the boards near the benches is where it starts. Simpson gets the left going, while Guerin's got his head down. Billy can't straighten up and is just taking punches. Guerin finally isn't bent over, but can't throw a punch as he's tied up. Simpson's about to start with some rights when the linesmen come rushing in.
