Garnet Exelby |
| By this time, the game had been decided, so the Hawks have had it. As Chicago is breaking out, Kovalchuk holds up Bell by grabbing his stick. Bell slashes aKovalchuk, who tries to skate to the bench. Bell takes after him, spearing him in the chest, and following that up with a pretty good crosscheck to the head. Not surprisingly, everyone jumps into the fray. Cowan grabs a hold of Calder and throws two short punches with the left hand. Bell sees this and tries to save Calder, but a linesman has a hold of Bell, who's livid. Another Hawk, Vorobiev, tries to save Calder, but Randy Robitaille grabs him. Luckily, Cowan shows some restraint against Calder, and stops throwing, allowing the linesmen to jump in. During all this, Exelby drops his gloves and goes after Ruutuu and starts throwing left hands. Ruutuu seems to want no part of it, and tries to tie up Exelby. As the linesmen are breaking up Cowan and Calder, Ruutuu manages to throw some weak right hands at Exelby before falling to the ice. Other Penalties: Exelby received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct; Mark Bell a roughing; Ilya Kovalchuk received an obstruction holding. |

Chris Tamer |
| Nichol nailed an Atlanta player along the near boards and then threw a punch at him. Tremblay jumps in to depfend his mate and Nichol drops his gloves and starts pounding away with the right hand. Tremblay's jersey gets pulled over his head and he's at Nichol's mercy at that point. The linesman are really late to break this fight up (they were watching Moen/Tamer), even though Nichol threw about ten shots at Tremblay without any resistance. The linesmen finally get in between them, leaving Moen and Tamer to have at each other. Moen gets his right hand free and tags Tamer with an overhand. Moen pulls the jersey over Tamer's head, so Tamer holds on for dear life, tying up Moen's arms. The linesman eventually intervene. Other Penalties: Each player received a game misconduct. |

Wade Brookbank |
| Fair squareoff at center ice as Brookbank throws a right jab to Shelley's face as Shelley comes in for the grab, then gets the first right off to the helmet. They are now locked and loaded, holding on with the left and throwing rights - first two miss, Shelley lands a right to the chin, then they both throw grazing blows with a pair of blind right hands. Shelley tosses a pair of rights in close that go nowhere as BB does the same. They continue to hold on with left hands, chucking rights - Shelley lands on the temple, Brookbank throws a right into the air in front of Jody's face while Shelley's right lands on top of BB's helmet (he's hunched over a little). Both miss with rights in stereo - now a little grappling. As BB's left comes free Shelley tries to throw another right, so Brookbank grabs back on, then grazes a right off of the top of Shelley's helmet and misses with another right. Jody switches hands, grabs hold with the right and tries the left, going nowhere, switches back to the right. Now they are both facing each other, lefts extended on each other's jerseys, here come the rights - BB misses with two while Shelley lands a soft one on the kisser. Both land soft rights to the face with no damage, both miss again, next Brookbank throws a right as his elbow pad comes sliding down his arm into Shelley's face, looks like an extension or something. Shelley's coming forward, misses with a right. Brookbank is backing up, a slap with the right to Jody's cheek, so Jody grabs BB's right and tries an overhand left that misses. BB's crouched down in front away from Shelley, now pulling with both hands on Jody's right arm to throw him off balance. Shelley stands up and with his free left comes down on Brookbank's back with a powder-puff toss. They start pushing to try to get free, Brookbank is down on a knee with Shelley on top, looks like its over, but he gets right back up and they start hugging. Brookbank is trying to get Shelley's jersey off, then misses with a right, Jody just misses with a left across the bow. Brookbank's right has come out of his jersey, he tries to get it back on but can't, and they keep wrestling. They're now locked out as Shelley throws a right that doesn't do much damage. Brookbank bounces a right off of Shelley's temple. A little more wrestling and a spin. Rights in stereo miss. Brookbank's helmet is off now as he throws a right that lands with no sting. They both miss with wild rights, now they are holding on gasping as the linesmen step in to give them a much needed rest. A lot of action, almost no damage. |

| Davison drops them first and grabs on immmediately. Fedoruk is tied up as Davison gets his right free and lands two good straight rights. Fedoruk is able to respond with one of his own. Davison then decides to hold on for the rest of the fight, but Fedoruk is upset and starts yelling at him. Fedoruk finally gets his left free and Davison hides under Fedoruk's right arm so Fedoruk can't reach him. Fedoruk starts throwing anyway and eventually gets Davison open and lands a good left. Before Fedoruk can do much more Davison falls. |

| When the camera gets there they are at center ice and they have both removed their helmets. They shadowbox a while then Tootoo lunges in. Tootoo tries to throw with the left, but he's locked out. They spin a little and Danton throws a wild right that misses, but the momentum takes Danton to his knees. When he gets up, he has Tootoo's jersey over his head. Tootoo fires two blind lefts that hit Danton's shoulder, then Danton tries two lefts of his own that come up short. Tootoo gets his head out of his jersey and throws a right that hits Danton's shoulder. They wrestle for position and Danton throws two rights. The first comes up short and the second grazes Tootoo's forehead. Tootoo then throws two rights of his own with the first hitting Danton's shoulder and the second being a wild haymaker that catches nothing but air. The momentum takes Tootoo to the ice and Danton throws a left to the back of Tootoo's head while he's down. The linesman come in, and while their trying to break them up, Tootoo lands a good shot to Danton's forehead. Very spirited scrap, but not much landing. |

| Right when the puck is dropped they go. No circling as it starts in close. Brookbank starts with a few lefts as Low tries to get in position. A lot of grappling and then Low gets inside and throws a quick left uppercut, followed by a straight left. He continues this with little success as they are still in close. Both exchange more lefts with Brookbank getting in a few good ones as does Low, though with little power. Finally Brookbank is done, but Low throws a few more weak lefts, connecting on a couple. |

They square off again. Laraque grabs at Peters' collar, but misses. He then grabs at his collar again, and Peters is now ducking his head. Laraque rips Peters' helmet off and throws 4-5 quick left hands to the top of Peters' head. Peters goes to his knees and Laraque holds back. Peters waits for the linesmen to get in before he gets up off the ice. |

Dingman immediately starts hugging and Nazarov throws about 5-6 lefts to the back of his helmet. Dingman then tries to throw a soft punch. Nazarov throws another left, which looked like it could've done damage if it landend flush. Then Dingman goes into the hug as Nazarov gets the takedown. |
