Oct 25, 2003 Pittsburgh Penguins Steve McKenna
2pd 06:16 New York Islanders Eric Cairns
Cairns has words with Lemieux and McKenna comes over. They meet behind the net, along boards and are immediately tied up. Cairns has Mckenna in a headlock and is talking to the linesmen the whole time. Could be about the visor McKenna currently is sporting. They finally start swinging, McKenna a right and Cairns a left or two. Cairns goes to the right and now both guys are throwing right hands with some intent. They both land a couple of rights, and McKenna gets Cairns' jersey up. Linesmen come right in. McKenna did receive the unsportsmanlike conduct for instigating with a visor. Other Penalties: McKenna received an instigator, unsportsmanlike conduct and misconduct.

Oct 25, 2003 Pittsburgh Penguins Kelly Buchberger
1pd 14:29 New York Islanders Eric Cairns
After a squareoff, Buchberger started throwing wild punches while Cairns was catching his balance. Cairns might have landed a decent uppercut, then he got Kelly's jersey up over his head and landed a couple of overhand rights to the back of Kelly's head, but Buchy kept coming while the linesmen came in.

Oct 25, 2003 Colorado Avalanche Jim Cummins
1pd 04:56 Nashville Predators Wade Brookbank
Brookbank lays a hit on Cummins at the bench and Brookbank quickly drops his gloves. Cummins looks like he doesn't want to go, but does so after a bit. As soon as he does Brookbank hammers him with two to three, then they trade bombs for about five seconds. Brookbank lays a huge right that drops Cummins. Cummins immediately went to the lockerroom with blood running down his face.
Voted winner: Wade Brookbank (100.0%) - Voted rating: 6.9

Oct 25, 2003 Washington Capitals Stephen Peat
1pd 08:27 Toronto Maple Leafs Wade Belak
Both go after each other the whole shift and finally Belak hits Peat and they decide to go. Belak starts off pretty well with the uppercuts to straight rights. Most came up short, but he did get in a couple. Peat then gets the lefts going again, but Belak turns into him and Peat can't get in much. Belak throws a couple of more that seem to hit the mark. Peat gets his left free again and lands a big left that gives Belak a bloody nose and follows up with another big left. They then hug and the linesmen come in.
Voted winner: Stephen Peat (48.6%) - Voted rating: 4.5

Oct 24, 2003 New Jersey Devils Mike Rupp
2pd 00:14 Pittsburgh Penguins Dan Focht
After a lackluster first period, Focht tries to wake the Pens up by goading Rupp into a fight. Focht grabbed Rupp's stick as he skated away making it clear what he wanted to do. They drop em and squareoff. While skating Rupp suprises Focht with a left to the throat as he skates backwards. They both have the jerseys with their lefts. Rupp has his right cocked wide and awkardly. Rupp, unaware of were he is, slams backward into the boards as they both miss with rights. Rupp, with his head down, throws a blind right into Focht's neck. Focht apears to land a decent uppercut on Rupp, snapping his head and bringing him upright, then Rupp misses a ducking Focht. Focht throws five weak uppercuts into Rupp's armpit while Rupp misses two more overhand rights. They twirl, Rupp again has his right cocked way behind his back, and Focht throws another weak uppercut while Rupp jersey-jabs him with his left. Focht does likewise, pushing Rupp's face with his left four times. Rupp finally throws an overhand right looking to connect on Focht's temple, and as Focht throws a right that misses, Rupp lands an off-balance, but head-snapping right to Focht's jaw. Rupp's completely off-balance and is hunched over facing away from Focht now who just pushes him down to the ice.
Voted winner: Mike Rupp (42.1%) - Voted rating: 4.6

Oct 23, 2003 Buffalo Sabres Andrew Peters
1pd 16:25 Los Angeles Kings Kip Brennan
Murray and Ruff put the tough guys out there right after the Lappy-Fitzpatrick scrap. They aren't on the same sides of the ice, but drop them and throw off the helmets. They squareoff around center ice for a good period of time. They come in and Brennan pops Peters with a shot and Peters comes back. They get in close and throw some serious haymakers. Lots of punches thrown and landed by both. Peters put Brennan down to a knee twice during the fight and Brennan was bloody afterwards. He had cut next to his right eye that needed four stitches.
Voted winner: Andrew Peters (93.2%) - Voted rating: 8.0

Oct 23, 2003 Buffalo Sabres Rory Fitzpatrick
1pd 16:22 Los Angeles Kings Ian Laperriere
They each get two for roughing and decide to go right after they get out of the box. Lots of grappling as Lapperriere was trying to get his elbow pad off. He gets free, lands some shots, mostly to the back of the head, some to the face and he also landed a body shot. Fitzpatrick was tied up most of the time and couldn't get in much.

2pd 14:03 Boston Bruins Sean O'Donnell
They squareoff and get in close. They are both tied up pretty well and not landing much. Boulerice gets the sweater up and lands what looks like on first view to be a couple solid shots to O'Donnell's head. They then slip and fall with O'Donnell landing on top.

Oct 23, 2003 Edmonton Oilers Cory Cross
2pd 11:41 Colorado Avalanche Cody McCormick
It starts with a huge double team hit by Hinote and McCormick on Cross. Cross gets up and slashes Hinote, then Hinote challenges him and Cross backs down. Moreau comes in with the gloves off, right cocked back and starts throwing a bit. Moreau throws three or four punches, and they fall down with Hinote on top. Right after Moreau jumps in, McCormick does the same to Cross. They fall almost immediately, maybe each threw a couple. They both get booted for being the second fight. Other Penalties: Each player received a game misconduct.

Oct 23, 2003 Toronto Maple Leafs Ric Jackman
1pd 19:28 Phoenix Coyotes Brad Ference
There's a scrum and falling bodies in front of the Leaf's net. Out of the mess comes these two. They wrestle, jostle then you hear the ref say "get back... I don't give a **** ,let 'em go" Havent heard those words in a while. Jackman appears to want little to do with it, and pins Ference against the boards. Ference pops off his helmet and starts with lots of rabbit punches. Jackman gets pissed and swings a couple of wild ones. More grappling, then Ference with a few more noogies.

Oct 22, 2003 Philadelphia Flyers Keith Primeau
1pd 05:58 Anaheim Ducks Lance Ward
These two come together at center ice. Ward checks Primeau and kind of glove-punches him in the face. Primeau punches him back and Ward drops his gloves. Primeau drops his gloves and they squareoff. Ward reaches in and Primeau swings a right that either grazes or misses. Ward fires two rights that miss, Primeau lands one over the top. They tie each other up. Ward throws two that graze Primeau, Primeau throws an over, under, over right hand (didn't appear to bother Ward). Linesman then jump in for no reason. Other Penalties: Each player received a roughing.
