They exchange a few more punches, then Stevenson throws a right that McCarty ducks and Stevenson's momentum takes him to the ice with McCarty on top. |

Both were agressively punching, Johnson with the rights, Lessard with the lefts. Nothing damaging lands on either side before Lessard throws one that misses and goes down from momentum. |

Everyone on the ice jumps in, and through the scrum Fridge pops Jokinen with a decent right. Esche and Shields had their gloves off but it was all broken up. Other Penalties: Fedoruk received an instigator and misconduct; Oli Jokinen a game misconduct; Robert Esche and Steve Shields each received a leaving the crease. |

| They go right off the faceoff. Camera was late getting there, but when it did they had each other at arms-length, with the rights cocked back. They were spinning each other around and just trading big rights. Boulerice with about four right in a row, all connecting, then Parker with some rights, then Boulerice again. Boulerice then falls to the ice, (off-balance) and the linesmen jump in. Boulerice's jesery was ripped down the middle. |

| This was a looong fight. They were both pretty well tied up and trading in-close, short punches. Each landed a few. Langdon at one point broke a hand free and threw a couple of haymakers that hit the side of McCarthy's head or his helmet. Starts to slow down after at least a minute and the linesman break it up. |
