| Shelley finishes a check on Oliwa along the side boards. Oliwa, gives Shelley a couple of cross checks to the back. They skate toe to toe, Oliwa drops the mitts. Shelley waits, then finally drops them himself. Oliwa instantly lands two square rights to the cheek/eye. A couple of wild swings from Shelley, neither seem to connect or cause any damage. They wrestle around for a bit and the linesmen step in. Shelley has a large cut under his eye, decent amount of blood. Other Penalties: Oliwa received a cross checking and roughing. |

| At the end of the game, both crosscheck each other near the front of the Canucks net. Gratton finally drops his gloves and the linesmen immediately jump in. Ohlund took off his right glove and landed a short right while the linesmen hold onto Gratton. The punched landed and cut Gratton pretty good over his eye. Gratton is yelling and trying to punch over the linesmen. Other Penalties: Gratton received a double cross checking; Ohlund a cross checking. |

Turner then pops Fridge in the head and knocks his helmet off. Fridge answers with a few lefts and knocks Stevenson down to a knee. |

Perrott is hammering away with the left hand, Peters is trying to throw rights back, but Perrott is landing more and better shots. Peters goes down, not sure if it was balance or punches. Perrott keeps on throwing lefts as Peters tries to get up. The linesmen come in and Peters is livid. |

They come together and briefly go toe-to-toe, McCarty with lefts, Allison with rights. After a brief tie-up, they resume toe-to-toe action. McCarty starts with the right and switches to the left while Allison throws all lefts. They then tie up to end this highly entertaining bout. |

| After the Preds score Shanahan comes after Hall with the gloves already off. Before Shanahan can land a punch, Hall sheds his gloves and lands one of his own to Shanny's jaw. Shanahan then gets Hall ducking as he throws five or six rights, none doing any damage. Hall tries a weak left. Shanahan tries four or five more rights, but none of them do any damage either. They some how separate from each other, stare at each other and then jump back in. They trade rights a couple of times and the linesmen come in. Other Penalties: Shanahan received an instigator and misconduct. |

| Starts after Tootoo checks Dandenault. When the camera gets there they are grappling for position and then start throwing them. Dandenault with the right and Tootoo with the left, both were landing some punches. After Tootoo lands a solid left, Dandenault pulls Tootoo to his knees and throws four rights while Tootoo is on his knees and getting back up. All hitting either air, shoulder, or sternum. They then throw punches at the same time, Dandenault's right came up short, but Tootoo's left caught Dandenault in the jaw. Tootoo then throws eight or nine rights with about four connecting well. During this Dandenault throws one left that hits Tootoo's helmet and knocks it off. After Tootoo finishes throwing the lefts, the linesmen come in and it's over. |

| Both shed their gloves and helmets. After a squareoff that lasted 11 seconds, Hartnell lunges in with a left, but gets caught with a straight left by Fischer that buckles Hartnell's knees. Hartnell is way off-balance and Fischer throws a right uppercut that doesn't help matters. Hartnell jerks back after the uppercut and falls to the ice, with Fischer landing one more short right on the way to the ice. |
