Dec 20, 2003 Atlanta Thrashers Ben Simon
2pd 10:59 Pittsburgh Penguins Kelly Buchberger
Comments: Terrible camera work. They drop em, then they went to a shot of Kovalchuk sitting on the bench. Then when they came back it looked like both guys went down with Simon on top.

Dec 20, 2003 New York Rangers Matt Barnaby
1pd 03:04 Ottawa Senators Zdeno Chara
Comments: These two just step out the box for roughing minors, and can't wait to have a dance. Nice squareoff as they step out the penalty box. They both dive in, Chara has a big reach advantage, throws a couple of jersey-punches with his left hand. Chara is so tall Barnaby has to grab Chara's left shoulder, NOT his right shoulder (simply cant reach it!). Barnaby actually gets in a decent right hand. They spin a little bit, Chara has his right hand cocked and ready and then Chara gets in a nice uppercut as they go to the ice.

Dec 20, 2003 Columbus Blue Jackets Jody Shelley
2pd 10:11 Minnesota Wild Alex Henry
Comments: They drop em, and get going quick, each with the rights. Shelley throws a bunch, landing a few, while Henry only gets off a couple, maybe landing one. They're in a slow spin, do about a 180, and then start going again. Shelley gets off one, while Henry pops Shelley with two shots, the second one sending him to the ice. They tangle on the ice for a moment while the linesmen immediately come in.
Voted winner: Alex Henry (79.4%) - Voted rating: 6.9

Dec 20, 2003 Montreal Canadiens Darren Langdon
1pd 05:42 Toronto Maple Leafs Wade Belak
Comments: They both grab on and Belak is holding him off with the left and throwing numerous jersey punches. Belak then gets the big right firing and fires off a few with two to three landing. Landgon wakes up and starts to fight back landing a few of his own. Belak keeps going with the jersey punches and is now trying to get the uppercuts to go but none connect. Belak throws a few more bombs with one opening up Langdon's left eye. They both start looking tired and Landgon takes over and lands a couple bombs, one that looks to stun Belak.
Voted winner: Wade Belak (45.1%) - Voted rating: 7.0

Dec 20, 2003 Carolina Hurricanes Jesse Boulerice
2pd 01:59 Boston Bruins Doug Doull
Comments: Carolina goes up 1-0 and on the ensuing faceoff Doull challenges Boulerice and he obliges. Boulerice starts backing up with Doul in pursuit and they come together and Doull starts firing rights, most come up short with maybe one or two landing. During the flurry Boulerice loses his balance and goes down, but gets up. Doull continues to punch, coming up short while Boulerice is lining him up. Boulerice starts tossing the right nailing Doull, then connecting with a nice one which puts Doull to the ice.
Voted winner: Jesse Boulerice (90.3%) - Voted rating: 7.7

Dec 19, 2003 Chicago Blackhawks Burke Henry
2pd 13:12 Detroit Red Wings Darryl Bootland
Comments: Short squareoff, then Bootland connects with a weak left and Henry starts throwing wild lefts. Henry gets Bootland turned around and gets his helmet off. Henry hits a few noogie shots to the back of Bootland's head and Bootland answers back with some overhand lefts. Decent fight, fairly long, but not a whole lot connecting.
Voted winner: Draw (47.1%) - Voted rating: 6.0

Dec 18, 2003 New Jersey Devils Colin White
3pd 10:37 Atlanta Thrashers Andy Sutton
Comments: With the Devils leading 3-0, Sutton decides to stir things up. They get to it with both players up against the boards. They are all tied up, lots of hugging in-close. They both try to get an arm loose but to no avail. After lots of noogies and hugging Sutton manages to take down White.

Dec 18, 2003 Minnesota Wild Matt Johnson
1pd 09:27 Edmonton Oilers Georges Laraque
Comments: Long sqaureoff as Moose appeared to want to stay open and not grab a hold of Laraque. They finally get together with Laraque getting a few punches off before Johnson loses his balance.

Dec 18, 2003 Minnesota Wild Jason Wiemer
1pd 07:11 Edmonton Oilers Jason Chimera
Comments: Wiemer boards Horcoff and play continues. Laraque gives Wiemer a shove and moves on, Chimera goes after him a second later. Wiemer was throwing away and it looked like Chimera was content to hold on and throw when he could. Other Penalties: Chimera received an instigator and misconduct.

Dec 18, 2003 Pittsburgh Penguins Tom Kostopoulos
1pd 12:20 Carolina Hurricanes Aaron Ward
Comments: They started out in tight and were able to get free, Ward landed a big punch early, then they exchanged a couple, and then Kostopoulos landed a very solid punch to the forehead of Ward which actually had enough force to separate the two players. They squared off again, and Ward landed a couple big punches and sent Tom K. to the ice, and it looked like Ward landed a few more While Tom K was on the ice. Real good battle.
Voted winner: Aaron Ward (86.1%) - Voted rating: 6.3

Dec 18, 2003 Tampa Bay Lightning Chris Dingman
1pd 00:16 Philadelphia Flyers Jim Vandermeer
Comments: Dingman lays out Roenick. Roenick stays down, and Vandermeer makes a bee-line for Dingman. (You see a glove literally go flying to about the blue line.) These guys dance around a lot, with Dingman landing one and Vandermeer landing two, but these two are in really close. Vandermeer gets his left free and Dingman totally covers up.

Dec 18, 2003 Tampa Bay Lightning Andre Roy
1pd 00:02 Philadelphia Flyers Donald Brashear
Comments: Roy drops the gloves first, and throws some wild, not really connecting rights that turn Brashear around. Brashear rights himself and Roy slips to the ice. They get back up and squareoff fairly. Roy tries to throw again, but Brashear grabs his right and mutes it. Brashear pulls the jersey over Roy's head while throwing lefts and and looks to connect on at least two, with Roy going down.

Dec 18, 2003 Calgary Flames Chris Clark
3pd 09:19 Boston Bruins Sean O'Donnell
Comments: O'Donnell clears Clark from the side of the net then cross checks him. He then gets Clark again with a cross check in the face. O'Donnell throws a few gloved lefts before they finally drop em. O'Donnell lands the only punches as the linesman came in and bailed Clark out. Other Penalties: O'Donnell received a roughing and high sticking.
