Jan 17, 2004 Washington Capitals Stephen Peat
2pd 03:36 New Jersey Devils Rob Skrlac
Early in the second period, Peat throws an elbow at Skrlac. Skrlac follows him down the ice and challenges him. A pretty long fight with Peat landing a lot of shots in the beginning. Skrlac seemed to land a few good ones as well, but Peat unloaded on him a few times. The linesmen almost break it up along the boards, but both guys want more. They throw a few more as they get to the middle of the ice and it is finally broken up. Skrlac may have had a little blood on his nose, and Peat ended up without a jersey.
Voted winner: Stephen Peat (100.0%) - Voted rating: 7.7

Jan 16, 2004 Los Angeles Kings Sean Avery
1pd 13:08 Columbus Blue Jackets Darryl Sydor
These two were talking it up for a good 15 seconds, then finally go along the boards after the whistle is blown. Avery throws a couple of rights, with one landing to the side of Sydor's head. They get in tight and Sydor throws a right that misses and they continue to grapple. Sydor gets off a couple of more ineffective rights followed by more grappling. Avery then lands a nice uppercut followed by a couple of rights that miss. They spin around and Avery knocks Sydor off-balance and he goes down, Avery lands a right on the way down.

Jan 16, 2004 Toronto Maple Leafs Nathan Perrott
3pd 14:27 Philadelphia Flyers Donald Brashear
Off the draw they go, and they immediately get the death grip on each other. Perrott pulls Brash’s helmet off, and each of them let a few noogies fly before Brash tackles Perrott and ends it. The announcers joke that they should get delay of the game penalties and called the fight majors an "overstatement".
Voted winner: Draw (71.4%) - Voted rating: 1.2

Jan 15, 2004 Dallas Stars Aaron Downey
3pd 12:55 Colorado Avalanche Peter Worrell
Downey challenges and Worrell obliges. They tie up right away, DOwney getting inside. Worrell gets the helmet off quickly and throws three shots, two miss, one lands on the cheek. Downey then throws two lefts that both hit neck. They both open up a little and Worrell starts bringing it. He lands about three or four rights, but to Downey's credit he lands a left or two on Worrell.

Jan 15, 2004 Boston Bruins Doug Doull
2pd 09:08 Buffalo Sabres Andrew Peters
Doull takes a run at Taylor and Peters challenges him. Doull obliges and throws a punch that doesn’t connect. Peters pins him against the boards, and Doull misses another right. Peters starts swinging away with the right, mostly hitting helmet. It’s enough to make the much smaller Doull turn away, but he throws a couple of more in there, including a nice left. Peters dumps his own helmet off and continues to throw until Doull hits the ice. Peters had a cut on his nose, probably caused by his helmet. Spirited scrap, but not a whole lot landed all that well.
Voted winner: Andrew Peters (90.9%) - Voted rating: 5.4

Oleg gets a couple shots in then falls to his knees. Whitfield throws a few that look to connect while Oleg is down. He gets back up and throws about three more before the linesmen come in. Jan 13, 2004 Tampa Bay Lightning Cory Sarich
2pd 17:47 Pittsburgh Penguins Kelly Buchberger
Started in the neutral zone. They were spinning a bit and throwing wild punches. Sarich got a few in as he was throwing left and right uppercuts at the smaller Buchberger. Kelly tried to throw a few lefts and may have gotten one in, but he lost his balance as he was throwing. One of Sarich's early punches did land well because Buchy was bleeding between the eyes.

Jan 13, 2004 Tampa Bay Lightning Nolan Pratt
2pd 16:05 Pittsburgh Penguins Matt Bradley
They shove along the bench, Pratt challenges Bradley and off come the gloves. They were going toe to toe with both guys firing rights and landing two or three good shots each. Pratt seemed to have landed the best punch that bent Bradley over, but that didn't slow him down much. They continued to throw, but not much landed after that because they were running out of gas from being so active. The linesmen were finaly able to pull them apart.

Jan 13, 2004 Calgary Flames Shean Donovan
3pd 19:55 Toronto Maple Leafs Clarke Wilm
Starts in a scrum with seconds left and they leave the pack with wilm shirted. Wilm starts to punch his way out, hard to see what's landing and what's missing, as it's behind the scrum. Wilm is backing up Donovan to his bench. Wilm lands a good left and sends Donovan down. Donovan lands hard on his back, good thing his helmet was still on, and Wilm lands on top. Other Penalties: Robyn Regehr received a roughing; Calgary a bench minor for abusive language; Wilm a roughing.

3pd 02:50 Edmonton Oilers Alexei Semenov
Fight starts behind the play. Hordichuk was firing with lefts, one may have landed. Semenov threw a couple of rights, all missing. Semenov was using his reach to keep Hordi from landing any real blows. Hordi then switches to try to get something going with the right, but nothing happening there either. Semenov may have thrown three or four punches the whole fight while Hordi had 'em going with not many landing.

Jan 13, 2004 Vancouver Canucks Tyler Bouck
2pd 20:00 Phoenix Coyotes Brad Ference
Starts off with the two grappling, both have helmets on, Ference with a visor. Ference throws a shot at Bouck, it glances off the side of Bouck's helmet. Bouck comes back with three rights, one hits Ference right across the jaw, the other two are blocked by Ference's arm. They jockey for position a bit, each trying to get an arm free. Ference sneaks a small punch in, no damage done. Bouck responds with a good left, but hits nothing but helmet. They grapple some more, spinning around, and Bouck lands another right to the side of Ferences' jaw/side of his neck, no damage done. They trade shots to the jaw, Ference seemed to get hurt for a second by that one, Bouck takes the opportunity to throw another punch, which deflects off Ference's helmet. Ference recovers himself and lands four good shots to Bouck's helmet, one of them may have hit Bouck in the side of the face/ear. Not a good angle. Ference goes to take Bouck's helmet off, and Bouck comes up with a roundhouse to the left of Ference's face. Ference bends over for a second, then pops back up. They grapple some more, and Ference takes off his helmet for some reason, but then the referees intervene. Other Penalties: Chris Gratton received a roughing.
