They get matching minors and when they come out, Norton drills Conroy to the ice with a nice check. The whistle is blown and Oliwa and Norton bump. They shed the gloves, grab on, and start throwing. Norton connected with a right, then Oliwa threw a right overtop that connected and then one underneath that dropped Norton. Norton went to the box shaking his right hand like it was hurt.

They dropped the gloves off the faceoff and grabbed on. Donovan threw two nothing rights to the back of Avery's head as Avery threw a right overtop that didn't connect, but sent Donovan off-balance to the ice. Avery threw in one more while they were on the ice for good measure.

They chatted before the puck dropped and shed the gloves as soon as the puck hit the ice. Chartrand grabbed on as they tugged on each other's arms for position. Green threw a right and Chartrand threw one underneath that landed. A lot more grappling and some more nothing punches from both until Green went down off-balance. No damage done.

Good square off and Mayers starts in with a few good rights, landing one or two of them. They tie up a bit and Mitchell out muscles Mayers, gets him off-balance and lands a couple of good shots of his own.

Low was just waiting for the whistle to start throwing. Both players locked each other out decently at first, but Low got free and landed a few, then Henry does the same. Low came back at the end and switched hands decently. The linesmen are in Low gives Henry a straight right to the face. He then proceeded to push Brad Bombadir on his way to the gate. Other Penalties: Low received a roughing and misconduct.

Not much of a fight as they jostle for position. Danton looked to land a decent right early on and Henry landed a couple of uppercuts later on. Tons of grappling. After they got down and the linesmen come in, Danton gives Henry a pop. Other Penalties: Danton received a misconduct.

On the ensuing faceoff after a Wild goal, Johnson and Low lean down low yakking at each other. Low got a good jump on Johnson and they're in real close. Johnson got an arm free and got off some punches that mostly missed. Two strong guys grappling and throwing a few shots here and there. Any time they got some space between them, Johnson would throw a big shot and slip, get up and they would pull back in-close. On the third slip he pulled Low down with him.

May takes a jab at Dunham and Purinton doesn't like it. He goes over with his gloves off, and they break away from a scrum. They are in-close and Purinton lands two light rights as May gets a right to Purinton's shoulder. May switches to his left and throws five hard lefts with two or three landing solid. Purinton's jersey is over his head as May quickly switches to his right and lands two rights. May switches back to his left and feeds Purinton two or three. May is off-balance and as he is going down Purinton gets loose and gets in a couple of rights.

Radio: Oliwa gets the upperhand early and wrestles Severson down. Severson gets back up. They wrestle more with Oliwa landing one or two, then they fall down and get back up. Oliwa then lands Severson with an uppercut and then a blow to the chest. Oliwa then wrestles Severson down to the ice to end the fight.

They square off evenly and Boynton starts out with four big rights which all miss. Buchberger loses his helmet during the flurry and then gets off a right that looked to come up short. Boynton throws another right that misses, followed by an uppercut that lands, but is countered with a Buchberger right which lands. Boynton ends it with a nice right putting an off-balance Buchberger to the ice. Buchberger was hurt in the box cluching his throat.

O'Donnell takes a penalty and Kostopoulos gets in his face and they decide to go. They wrestle with Kostopoulos appearing to attempt a right. O'Donnell lands a right and Kostopoulos responds with a soft right that barely connects to O'Donnell's ear. Kostopoulos then knocks O'Donnell's helmet off with a right. O'Donnell lands a short right to TK's forehead. O'Donnell has Kostopoulos tied up well and TK aborts a right while O'Donnell rings a right off the top of Kostopoulos' helmet. They twirl and hug and O'Donnell throws a heavy right off the back of TK's neck. Kostopoulos is holding on now and O'Donnell tries an in-tight left. TK throws a right that has nothing on it to the top of O'Donnell's head, and O'Donnell uses the momentum to push Kostopoulos to the ice. Other Penalties: O'Donnell receives a cross checking.

Moreau drills Visnovsky headfirst into the boards and on his next shift Laperriere challenges him and they go. Laperriere is trying to get his elbow pad off and there's one to two weak shots throwing by both and then they're broken up.

Johnson and Shelley decide to go off a faceoff in the Jackets' zone. They sqaure off and Shelley starts it with a left to Johnson's chest. Johnson grabs on with his left and throws a big right to the back of a ducking Shelley's head. Johnson rings another heavy right of the top of Shelley's helmet. Shelley loses his balance, going to his knee, then getting back up. Johnson throws an uppercut that doesn't quite land. They both throw rights, with Johnson's landing and Shelley's missing. They throw rights again, with both just grazing each other's temple. Shelley rings a right on the side of Johnson's helmet. Johnson tries to jab him with the jerseyed-left. Shelley throws another right to Johnson's helmet. Johnson lands a decent right to Shelley's neck as Shelley lands a right on Johnson's ear, then ducks under a Johnson right. Shelley tries a left that's blocked and then kisses a right off Johnson's jaw. Johnson misses a right and Shelley catches helmet with his left, knocking it off Johnson's head. In tight now, Johnson grazes a left on Shelley's face. Shelley lands a right to Johnson's head, then comes up short on another right. Johnson lands a heavy right to Shelley's helmet, then ducks a Shelley right as they lose balance and fall. Good fight.
