| Ray exits the box after a minor penalty and goes right for Peters and they drop the gloves. No square off, Ray starts out throwing three to four rights to the helmet and side of the head. Peters throws back, and they exchange some rights back and forth, mostly to the helmet. Ray landed a hard right to the back of the helmet that put Peters off-balance. More exchanging, they get in-close. Ray smiles and winks to the linesmen. Shortly after, they jump in and it's over. |

| Off the faceoff they go, skating around a bit before locking up. They trade some good shots. Quintal stops throwing and tries to hug and then gets hunched over and Boulerice lands a few more rights, then pulls the jersey over Quintal's head and connects with a few more. Quintal tries to come back, but he has his head down and Boulerice was in control, connecting with one or two more before the linesmen step in. Quintal is out the rest of the game with a hand injury. |

| They meet in front of the net after the whistle and they decide to go... then MSG goes to commercial. On the replay and it was all Stevenson from the five seconds they showed. Stevenson landed some close-in rights to a ducking and hugging Barnaby. John Davidson said Stevenson threw Barnaby to the ice to end the fight. |

Burnett gets up and throws a couple of weak rights which miss before Brennan tosses him back to the ice. |

| They drop the gloves and Doull puts his head down and away and Fedoruk has him right where he wants him, but fails to take advantage missing on two uppercuts. They grab hold and both combatants helmets come off, they jockey for a bit and Fedoruk starts throwing the left connecting on a couple and Doull starts throwing the right also landing a couple. Doull then unloads a big left that lands. Fedoruk then throws an uppercut which misses and sends himself off-balance and to the ice they go. |

He clips Boucher with one right to the face, then goes with an upper cut, which slightly clips Boucher, and follows with two more solid rights to Boucher, the last knocking him down. Boucher threw a couple of punches, hard to tell if any connected. Other Penalties: Wiemer received a cross checking; Boucher an instigator and misconduct. |

Smith throws a wild one that sends himself off-balance and while he's going to the ice Kostopoulos throws a punch or two that lands to Smith's back. Smith gets back up and tries a couple of lefts while Kostopoulos throws a right. Smith throws another wild punch and tries to lean on Kostopoulos for support, but Kostopoulos goes down with Smith on top and the linesmen come in. |

They're in-tight and Strudwick throws some short rights while keeping a hold of Richardson's sweater. They each throw a few short ones that don't do much and then Strudwick gets his left free. He's trying to throw a bigger punch, but Richardson gets him pressed against the glass and throws a left of his own that connects to the side of Strudwick's face. They wrestle a bit and then the linesmen come in. |

They grab on, and Ling throws a left that Bell didn't expect. They're jostling for position while Ling throws a few short punches that don't connect. Bell bends over and mostly comes out of his jersey with some help from Ling. Bell grabs Ling behind the head, slightly bending him forward and throws a few uppercuts that connect to Ling's torso and then wrestles Ling to the ice, and throws another while the linesmen come in. |
