Comments: This happened in front of the Pens' net. Simon was throwing lefts, two or three connected solid, then both guys spun around and fell down. Focht ended up on top and landed two rights as both guys were down on the ice.

Comments: Helanius and Mario have words at center ice. On the next shift McKenna comes out and goes right after Helanius. Helanius thows the first punch and didn't get much. Then McKenna threw two, they didn't look like they got too much, but Steve had Helanius backing up. It looked like Helanius didn't want any more and Steve just over-powered him and got the takedown.

Comments: Pellerin gets a penalty, and while the play is dead Buchy bumps into Roy. They both look at each other and drop their gloves. They grapple at first against the boards until Roy gets free. He throws several punches, a few looked to land cleanly. He gets Buchy off-balance, pinned against the boards. It looks like the fight is about over until Buchy regains his balance and spins around throwing a nice left that lands. Roy also threw a right and they fall off-balance. On the way down Buchy throws a wild left which didn't look like it landed. Other Penalties: Scott Pellerin received a tripping.

Comments: Ling starts gummin in the Atlanta zone, and drops the gloves first. Cowan accepts and throws 2-3 punches to the helmet/head of Ling right off the start, only landing one good one. Ling spins Cowan around for a bit trying to work with the sweater. More grappling now as Ling gets Cowan's jersey up over his head and lands a couple soft jabs. The linesmen see the jersey and come in and it's over.

Comments: After a long squareoff, they come together and grab on. Lots of wrestling, with McCarty throwing a couple of lefts, maybe landing one. Low gets his right free and they have a short exchange; Low with rights, McCarty with lefts. Not sure what all landed, then McCarty scores the takedown.

Comments: Chicago just scored a goal and these two guys squareoff at center ice right off the faceoff. They skate down into the Chicago zone and come together after about 20 seconds of circling. They grab on and start swinging. Parker lands a left and then hit Simon's helmet. Simon then rips Parker's helmet off and gets his left hand free and hit Parker with a pretty good punch. They then spin and swing, a few punches landed by each, but mostly they hit air. Simon has some trouble getting a hold of Parker, because of this he opens up. Parker takes advantage of this and start unleashing his left, landing a few nice shots to Simon's face, one punch that hits Simon's helmet and seems to break a piece of plastic on it that flies away. Simon then loses his balance and they go down, Simon seemed to have a red mark on the side of his eye. Pretty exciting scrap.

Comments: Neil's looking for a fight and these two are talking and skating at center ice, they both drop em and each throw some fists. Couldn't tell if much landed, but they fall and get back up. Cowan throws some nothing punches at the back of Neil's head and the linesmen jump in. Right after Cowan/Neil scrap, Odgers plays his usual big brother role and Chara takes exception. The gloves come off and Odgers goes to throw a couple before it's quickly broken up. Other Penalties: Cowan and Neil each received a roughing; Jeff Odgers and Zdeno Chara each received misconducts.

Comments: Starts at the side of the Atlanta net. Tamer comes out firing first. He fires off about 5 shots or so that go unanswered. Almost looked to hurt Neil. Neil comes back with a few, but Chris is between the camera and Tamer so it's hard to tell if anything was landed. Looked like a few shots perhaps and he pulls Tamer off-balance and he goes down while Neil throws another shot or two.

Comments: These two get two min. for roughing and go right out of the box. They both grapple for position and Exelby started trying to throw the left and looked to connect with two. A lot of tugging and swaying back and forth. Hnidy tried to throw some rights, but nothing really connected. They hug some more and the linesmen come in.

Comments: Witt gets his stick a little high on Iginla in the Caps' zone and Iggy takes exception and lays a decent hit on Witt. Witt drops 'em first and gets Iginla's hemlet right away. Witt started with the lefts and had Iginla tied up well so he couldn't throw. None of Witt's punches seemed to do any damage and Iggy only got off one or two punches.

Comments: They bump right at center ice and throw down. Right when they do Domi throws a left that hit helmet and Shelley comes over top with a right, then falls over and Domi is on top. That's it. Other Penalties: David Ling received a tripping.

Comments: Quick fight. Belak landed one good uppercut, a couple of lefts with the same hand that was holding the jersey. Allison was locked out and couldn't really reach with anything.
