Sean Avery |
| After a save by Cujo, DiMaio and Avery exchange hellos and decide to drop the gloves. Because the camera always turns away when players are pushing, we didn't get to see the beginning of the fight. When the camera gets back on the action, DiMaio and Avery are trading lefts. It looked like DiMaio got the better of him landing a couple of nice lefts, but Avery did land a couple flush to DiMaio's face. According to the Stars announcers, Avery won the beginning of the fight and DiMaio the second half. |

| Moments after a Messier goal these two drop em. Some flashes by the camera angles to get there, but you can tell they've basically been grappling. Purinton seems to have a bit more control and throws a couple of big rights that hit Low, but not squarely. Low gets in a weak shot of his own. Low's trying real hard to get his hands free, but Purinton's got him locked up pretty well. Purinton gets in another blah shot. Low swings, misses and falls. Purinton falls on top of him giving him a punch as they go down. |

He follows it up with a right to side of Tucker's helmet and right to the back of the helmet. Lindsay chucks a right that misses a receives a right from Tucker. | McKenzie checks Thornton against the boards. Thornton hooks him, and they both drop the gloves. All grappling, but Thornton was really trying to get an arm free. McKenzie had the death grip on and was content without throwing a punch. Don't believe there was a punch thrown. |

| They had been jawing at each other a lot, finally meet up and Domi throws down first with Sutton shortly after. Domi has him spinning right away and both trade bombs, Domi landing two and Sutton landing one. Then they get in tight and hold for a bit. Domi throws one punch, then pulls Sutton's helmet off and gets him spinning. Sutton throws one more big punch that misses and Domi hits him with one, then grazes another. They both fall with Domi landing on top. |

Donald Brashear |
| Brash takes a little run at Vaananen and Naz comes flying up and tries to run Brash, who at the last second drops to his knees to avoid it. Brash starts to skate up ice, then decides he's going to answer this challenge. They square off, then Naz goes for a straight right that just grazes the top of Brash's lid. Brash grabs a hold and Naz throws 4 lefts and a right to the side of Brash's head, but they've got nothing on them because Brash is too strong and has a bear hug on Andrei. Nazarov throws a left while Brash throws a short left that may have hit. Brash with a short uppercut, can't tell if it hit. Brash with a left behind Naz's head. Naz then throws another nothing left. Now Brash has him in a double headlock and is trying to get his helmet off, their faces are about an inch apart. Brashear with an overhand left that misses. Nazarov with a left to Brash's temple/cheek. Now Naz has a bear hug on Brash as well, and another nothing left from Naz. Brashear throws a left that's short and Naz just misses a good uppercut. Now they're both literally hugging and Brash tries to pull away. He throws a right that loses its muster as it reaches Nazarov's face. Donald then lands a nice right to Naz's cheek as Naz lands a short left to Brash's face. Pulling Brash downward, Naz misses an overhead left. Now Naz is up against the Yotes' bench and Brashear thows a quick left to Naz's ear. Two more that glance his helmet. Naz tries a left, but nothing. Brashear looked to land another nice, quick, short left. Now Brash's left is free and Naz is going to his knees. Brash throws about 3-4 quick uppercuts, but cant see what hit directly. The linesmen come in and there's blood on the back of Brash's jersey from a cut on Andrei's face. |

Mark Recchi |
| Van runs over Recchi with a questionable hit and the Recching ball goes after the Sheided One. Recchi bumps Vaananen who gives a nasty backhand slash at Recchi's leg. Recchi drops the gloves and looks to land a nice uppercut to Van's face knocking his helmet and sheild off. Rechhi throws two rights that don't land, then lands another nice uppercut. Vaananen (just like in the Wright fight) has no interest in anything but holding on after he looses his protection. He tries to pull Recchi to the ice with 2 handfulls of jersey, finally jumping to the ice to pull Recchi down, making Recchi look like a ghost with his jersey pulled over his head. Then, after the refs have a hold, Vaananen has to be held back from throwing a punch at Recchi. |

| Stock checked Peat into the boards and Peat gave him a little cross-check back and they dropped the gloves. Started off with a bit of grappling as PJ might have been protecting his recently healed face. Both guys start to size each other up and exchange some short jabs. The guys come apart enough to exchange decent blows and then start trading haymakers. Peat lands some nice bombs to the side of PJ's helmet. PJ lands a couple and gets in two good shots, one snaping back Peat's helmet and the other right square on Peat's face. Peat answers with a few more bombs as he controled the fight a tad bit more. Other Penalties: Stock received an elbowing. |
