Mar 31, 2003 Los Angeles Kings Jon Sim
1pd 11:01 Phoenix Coyotes Paul Mara
Mara was roughing it up with Sim near the Kings' bench. They push and shove for a few seconds and Mara drops his gloves. Sim just started holding on and continued to do so. Mara ripped Sim's jersey off and tried throwing some lefts. One grazed Sim's head and the other one completely missed. Then the linesmen jumped in.

Mar 31, 2003 Los Angeles Kings Ryan Flinn
1pd 02:01 Phoenix Coyotes Andrei Nazarov
Drop em after a Phoenix goal and have a decent squareoff. They both grab on and Naz throws a right that hits helmet, Flinn throws a right that hits helmet. Naz threw a right that connected and Flinn threw a big right that connected and looked to drop Naz.

Mar 31, 2003 Buffalo Sabres Jay McKee
2pd 09:30 Dallas Stars Manny Malhotra
Quick fight after a check by Malhotra, but this was retribution for McKee hitting Modano earlier. Tight quarters pretty much the whole way. McKee lands a couple, with Manny getting the takedown and a couple along the way.

Mar 31, 2003 Calgary Flames Steve Montador
3pd 19:38 Minnesota Wild Jeremy Stevenson
They drop em right after the Marshall-Regehr fight and Montador gets the jump off the start landing at least three rights flush to Stevenson's face. Then Stevenson ties him up and lands at least half a dozen rights in quick succession eventually putting Montador down.

Mar 31, 2003 Calgary Flames Bob Boughner
2pd 20:00 Minnesota Wild Jeremy Stevenson
With the second period well over they drop em. Camera gets there late, but it seemed like both were throwing them with little connecting. Then Stevenson gets the takedown.

Mar 31, 2003 Calgary Flames Robyn Regehr
2pd 19:31 Minnesota Wild Willie Mitchell
There's a huge scrum and these two wound up with majors. Hard to tell why. Other Penalties: Craig Conroy received a roughing; Regehr an instigator and misconduct.

Mar 31, 2003 Calgary Flames Steve Montador
2pd 16:04 Minnesota Wild Jason Marshall
Drop em behind the net and jostle for position. Montador throws rights which are not connecting. Then they tie up a little bit and both come out throwing lefts to the side of each other's helmets. Looks like Montador was doing more damage with his lefts than Marshall. Marshall then goes for the takedown.

Mar 30, 2003 New York Islanders Steve Webb
1pd 10:51 New Jersey Devils Grant Marshall
Marshall's was pretty busy early in this one. First he knocked Kenny Jonsson out with a big hit and later took two minutes for dropping them with Cairns, who wouldn't oblige. Now Webb wants payback for the hit on Jonsson and hooks Marshall as they skate behind the play. The mitts come off and they trade wild bombs for about 10 or 15 seconds. Marshall got an early start landing a couple of big rights. Webb fires some lefty haymakers, landing about two or three out of five. Now Webb is off-balance from throwing bombs. Marshall takes advantage and unleashes a few lefts of his own. Webb falls and Marshall quickly after. Webb skates away with a little blood on his face.

Mar 29, 2003 Vancouver Canucks Bryan Allen
1pd 00:43 Los Angeles Kings Ian Laperriere
Lappy lays a big hit on Allen and waits for him to get up to issue the challenge. They drop 'em and for the first half of the fight Allen plays defensive and just hangs on while Lappy lands a few nothing shots. Allen finally opens up and lands one or two and that's about it.

Mar 29, 2003 Columbus Blue Jackets Jamie Allison
1pd 13:20 Calgary Flames Shean Donovan
As Marc Denis covers the puck, Allison takes Donovan hard to the boards. Donovan takes exception and they drop the gloves while tied up. Too bad the linesmen are all over 'em and each participant has to throw his punches while being held by one. Donovan landed a nice left to the jaw prompting Allison to throw a couple of rights that may or may not have landed.

Mar 29, 2003 Atlanta Thrashers Chris Tamer
2pd 12:42 Nashville Predators Scott Walker
Tamer crosschecks Vladimir Orszagh across the face on the faceoff. Walker immediately goes after Tamer with the rights. Walker throws three rights, one connecting to the forehead of Tamer. Tamer throws two rights that come up empty. It's all Walker from here on. He throws three or four pretty good rights, connecting with Tamer's chin a couple of times. Tamer's jersey gets up over his face and he ducks his head. Walker throws about four more to Tamer's forehead and helmet, driving him to his knees. The linesmen come in and try to break them up and Walker throws two or three uppercuts that might have connected. Other Penalties: Tamer received an attempt to injure match penalty; Walker an instigator and misconduct.

Mar 29, 2003 Washington Capitals Stephen Peat
3pd 12:36 Toronto Maple Leafs Wade Belak
Good, long squareoff. Belak starts with some rights and lands 1-2, then Peat throws 12-15 lefts, many landing and then switches and lands a right bomb. Belak recovers and then lands one left of his own and the linesmen jump in as they're dog tired and Peat is smiling. Other Penalties: Richard Jackman received a high sticking.
Voted winner: Stephen Peat (92.3%) - Voted rating: 8.3
