Los Angeles Kings |
Kelly Buchberger |
| Blouin is skating up the ice as Kelly gives him a little tug with his stick. Off go the gloves and into a nice little roundabout square-off. They lock into each other and try to get position. Blouin starts with a few rights that may have landed to the back of Kelly's helmet. No damage. Blouin takes Buchberger to the boards and they are still working to get free. Blouin with a couple lefts that land to the back of Kelly's helmet/neck area. Then Buchberger lands about 3 lefts of his own with no damage done to either fighter. The linesmen come in and break up this not-too-spectacular bout. |

Ryan Flinn |
| A scrum happens after the whistle, so Fox goes to commercial. When they return, they replay what went on. Ryan Flinn and Brad Brown were jawing and Brown was giving Flinn a nice facewash. Flinn decides to drop em and persuades Brown to do the same. He does and here we go! Flinn has more reach than Brown so he has him locked out. Flinn throws about 4 heavy rights with the last one connecting square on Brad Brown's chin. Brown went down like a sack of bricks after that last one! That was a solid right! Brown may have landed one or two rights that inflicted no damage. Other Penalties: Sylvain Blouin, Mathieu Schneider and Flinn received roughings. |

Zdeno Chara |
| These two had matching roughings, and Naz comes out of the box and goes right after Chara. Naz gets in some decent lefts to Chara's head. Both guys are pretty defensive. Chara throws Naz down and tries to nail him but the linesmen get in there. Other Penalties: Nazarov received an instigator and misconduct. |

Peter Worrell |
| Worrell laid a heavy hit on Niedermeyer, cartwheeling over the Devils defenseman after pushing him down. White confronted Worrell, Worrell just grabbed Colin with his left hand and basically threw him to the ground. When White got back to his skates, Worrell hit him with two solid rights, one opening a large gash under White's left eye. White was game, he tried to throw a series of punches. The announcers kept saying during and after the fight that they were good friends...they apparently played juniors at Hull together. |

Josef Melichar |
| Melichar started it. He crosschecked Dwyer in the face, to the left of Hedberg. Dywer and him started to get the gloves to each other and Melichar looked to drop them first. Nothing really happened in the fight though, a lot of wild swinging not much landing. Melichar then went off balance and banged his face off the ice pretty good, he was bleeding pretty good as well. Other Penalties: Dwyer received a roughing; Melichar a high-sticking. |

Matt Barnaby |
| Little scrum starts when Sean O'Donnell has his stick up around the head of Sandy McCarthy, McCarthy swings his stick back at him and punches him a couple of times as they go up against the boards. Looks as if it is gonna turn ugly as everyone on the ice is paired up, the linesman start to break them up as Barnaby and Knuble go at it, mainly wrestling, Barnaby gets his jersey over his head and attempts a punch which doesn't land, after some more wrestling they each throw a half punch and Barnaby gets a take down. Other Penalties: McCarthy received a double roughing; O'Donnell a roughing. |

P.J. Stock |

New York Rangers |
Matt Barnaby |
| It started along the boards. Both fighters having a strong hold on each others shirt. Stock gets off about 10 rapid fire jabs, Barnaby tries to return a couple, but they are in tight so neither is opening up. Then with Matt mouthing and shaking his head, they skate to center ice to clear the refs. They both try to throw punches, with Barnaby getting a few of his own off. Barnaby has a real tight grip on Stock, so PJ cant get going. Barnaby then misses with a big roundhouse. The whole time, Matt is shaking his head and jawwing. They then skate away again, but after some spinning and shaking, the refs step in. |

Jamal Mayers |

Buffalo Sabres |
Chris Gratton |
| They're in the corner, both players drop 'em. Mayers gets in some quick shots and then there's a bunch of grappling. As they're grabbing and shoving, Mayers throws a bunch of quick "rabbit" punches while still holding Gratton's jersey. Gratton then gets Mayers hunched over and throws a couple of shots. One looked to be a huge uppercut that put Mayers down. If so, late TKO in what would have been a loss for Gratton. If it didn't hit, then just an ok late showing for Gratton. |

Bob Boughner |
| This was a result of a big scrum at center ice. Domi went after Gauthier for his 1st period hit on Reichel, and in steps Berube. Boughner comes over and shakes the gloves, while Berube is still shoving Domi. Domi gets away from Berube and gets at Boughner. Brief scrap here, as maybe both guys get off at the most 3 punches each before the linesmen get in. |

Clarke Wilm |
| Corson gets in several rights with Wilm replying with the odd punch. Corson eventually gets the right arm out of the sleeve - earlier he was punching with it sort of half-way up the sleeve. Wilm did a good job to tie him up. Not sure how, usually that's a lot tougher with the arm out of the sleeve, but Corson switched to the left and nailed him a few times - all the while Wilm gets the odd shot in. |

Eric Cairns |
| McKenna is on the defensive from the beginning as he seems to be waiting for a stick to get out from in between them. Cairns gets a few in and as soon as McKenna starts throwing he loses his balance. McKenna falls but gets up quickly while eating 1 or 2 and then a big exchange of haymakers seems to surprise Eric (nothing big landed though). A couple of more exchanged and McKenna falls for the second time ending the fight. |
