| As the two are skating down the surface, Gilmour undercut Alfredsson. Daniel was pretty pissed about it and went straight for Doug. Alfredsson threw an overhand right that missed, but threw Doug off balance. Alfredsson then threw a left that glanced off of Gilmour's face. This takes them both off balance and down they go. Other Penalties: Gilmour received a tripping; Alfredsson a crosschecking. | ||

| The Flyers are on the power play, Primeau crashes into the net to stop play. Ulanov doesn't like it, so he pushes him. Primeau then drops them and starts firing rights on a outmatched Ulanov. Ulanov doesn't get his mits off until halfway through the fight. This one is all Primeau, right after right. Ulanov is getting hammered, the linesmen come in. | ||

| Pederson runs into Cloutier, both push and shove at one another. Helmer jumps in to protect his goalie, and the gloves come off. Pederson throws 3-4 rights (no damage), Helmer comes back with two rights that hit Pederson's helmet. Both lock each other up pretty well, Pederson gets a left free and throws a couple (he landed one of those). Helmer then wrestles Pederson to the ice. Pederson was cut over his right eye, but it most likely wasn't from a punch. Other Penalties: Pederson received a crosschecking; Helmer an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct; Dan Cloutier a roughing. | ||

| On the bext shift after a Barnaby late empty net goal, Boynton and Matt have a little staredown. Nick takes a look up at the clock, and figures there's just enough time for the gloves to be dropped. They come together as Boynton tosses a couple wild rights that don't land much. Both players are trying to get loose, but can't as there's a lot of holding going on. There's a couple of more punches thrown, but nothing powerful as it's quick and back to the hold. At the end of the fight, Barnaby goes for a wild punch and falls. Boynton's got his fist cocked back, but doesn't throw. Barnaby acknowledge's the hold-back with a nod after. Class move by both, although the fight wasn't much. | ||
